I'm almost ready for the holidays. Only four more gifts to wrap and I am done. This is the best I've ever done in getting ready. It's because I ordered everything online this time. Not trying to find a parking space and wandering around looking for the perfect gift is the most wonderful thing ever. To give you a quick idea of what it is like for me to shop - I get in the car with Foxy on the cart. (Foxy is my oxygen concentrator. Foxy is the name I gave her, Foxy oxy). Then I untangle the tubes and put on my seat belt, position my purse so it doesn't block the vents on Foxy and put on my sunglasses. Dig out my keys and open the garage door and I'm ready to roll Other than the garage door, I reverse the process to get out of the car. Imagine doing that when you are going many different places! I need a nap when I get home. Plus I'm trying to carry packages and my purse as I pull Foxy along. That's why I ordered online.

Just a strip of c/s and stickles on the mistletoe from Lawn Fawn Cheery Christmas. I added two strips of the same red c/s along the sentiment strip. The little bow is from Lawn Fawn Snow Day.

I know exactly what you're talking about with Foxy. Jim had a Foxy too and it was so hard to shop and things like that. Just getting in and out of the car was a drag. Good that you did it all online this year!

I love love love that mistle-toad card! The way you used the images is genius! I completely understand your shopping online now, and I've gone even one step beyond that and now give gift cards or send money to the grands and let them do their own shopping. I don't have a foxy, but I have to use 2 canes to get around, so that leaves no hand to actually look at anything or carry packages. Sometimes it's a real drag getting old, but until someone figures out how to reverse aging, I guess we'll deal with whatever comes our way and make the best of it! Have a great week ahead :)

Oh what a kick, Brenda--super cute card! I don't blame you at all for shopping on-line. We don't even shop--just give cards. I actually loved shopping & wrapping presents back in the day, but now no one is local & gift certificates are best for them. Wish we could go to Christmas lunch together--thinking of you, my friend!

I am such a fan of unusual and whimsical Christmas cards and this is definitely one of them. This is just adorable, Brenda! And I'm all about shopping on line too! Nice to have it come to your door and most times this time of year freight is free too!

I think your idea of online shopping is perfect...I did a bit of that myself and it is so fun to open the front door and see the package on the porch! I don't have the paraphernalia that you have, but I have to bring the car seat all the back so I can get my leg out (because it is still NOT bending, can you believe it? I am back to 98!!) any who, then it is a chore to get back in and drive and get in and out more, wears me out for sure! You are so smart to save yourself all the rigamarole!
