Saved

I have been saved by pattern paper. This is a simple card and you will be seeing those for a while. The first finger on my right hand has succumbed to arthritis and the cold is making it so much worse. I have to limit my computer time, make my comments short and cards even slower.

This card is cut from pattern paper and stamped in Catherine Pooler ink with a very old PSX XO stamp.

An unconventional Valentine

I've been in a funk lately and I shouldn't be because I have new products to play with and but just didn't feel like making a card. I sat down yesterday and got my new Spellbinders Kaleidoscope Plaid dies out and just played. I cut them out in red and white cardstock and glued them to pattern paper from a 6x6 pad from Teresa Collins. The Love is several glued together from a sequin pack. Nothing fancy but I made a card. I'll add this to the mynbus this month.

I've been telling my friend some jokes I've seen on YouTube and she suggested I post them on my blog. I'll put them at the end of the post so you can skip them if you want to.

Did you know that before crowbars were invented crows had to drink at home?

Stripes

I found this great striped paper in my stash and decided to use it with my Penny Black "love" die. Then I turned the paper the other way and cut a heart from it with a Die-namics die. The "you" is stamped with a Simon Says stamp.

This week is Anything Goes with dies so I am playing there.

Glitter heart

Today's card is inspired by the colorhues challenge of silver and white. It's time to make a few Valentines for my grands and this is my first one. I cut a heart from silver glitter paper and also from the front of a card panel. I glued the glitter heart on the front of my card base first. Then I ran the panel through the Big Shot with a Cuttlebug heart embossing folder and glued it into place over the glitter heart. The sentiment is cut from silver mirror c/s and white c/s and layered together for a bit of dimension. I added the crystal heart for an embellishment.

Shiny bells

My first Christmas card for 2022 and I hope it's one of lots and lots before December. I am playing in the
caschristmascardchallenge. that is asking for silver and gold. I used an Impression
Obession  bell die and cut them from mirror paper of silver and gold. The sentiment is IO also and embossed in gold embossing powder. I cut
the frame from silver mirror c/s too.

Water coloring

It's not my best thing to do but I am working on it. This month's challenge at  casmixup.blogspot is loose watercolor. I used a Simon Says stamp set called Spring Flowers and water colored with Zigs and that is a first for me too. For some reason I couldn't seem to work with them but I'm pleased with this outcome.

Happy New Year better late than never

My sidekick, Daisy, and I want to wish all of you a happy 2022 filled with love, happiness and good health, along with lots of crafty time.

I finally got back to crafting and made this card for my SIL, Sharon. When I saw Cathy Zielske use this BDAY die she created I fell in love with it and her card and made one for Sharon. Using brushes, I added color in strips across the panel, embossed with a WRMK embossing folder,  then sprayed it with silver glitter dust. The die was cut in white and lavender c/s and I also got to use my new Hero Arts frame die in pink c/s.

I'm adding this card to  mynbus since I used two new products on my card.
