Saved

I have been saved by pattern paper. This is a simple card and you will be seeing those for a while. The first finger on my right hand has succumbed to arthritis and the cold is making it so much worse. I have to limit my computer time, make my comments short and cards even slower.

This card is cut from pattern paper and stamped in Catherine Pooler ink with a very old PSX XO stamp.

Avoid dangerous cults. Practice safe sects.

Be kind to one another.

LOL! I'm not sure which are safe sects! Great use of patterned paper! Smart to let it work for you. Hope your finger improves before Spring!

What great paper & good way to use it, Brenda! Sorry your arthritis is acting up. Have you tried Voltaren Gel? Several doctors have recommended it & one mentioned it working for hands/fingers.

That's gorgeous pp, Brenda, and it made beautiful hearts! I love the simplicity of your design! I'm sorry to hear that your right pointy finger is painful. My left thumb is the same. That means when we go back to traveling across the country, you'll have to do the hitching with your thumb and I'll point out the sites with my finger. We'll make it work! Hugs, Darnell

Oh Brenda, I feel your pain! My RA has been very active in this cold too and my hands are suffering as well. Makes it hard to do things, but keep it moving as that helps. Even if you just open and close your hands a few times a day. Mine hurt worse if I don't keep them moving. I am loving your simple Valentine card, that pattern paper is so pretty and really saves the day. Loving the sentiment stamp as well. Stay warm my friend and keep those joints moving! Hugs, Brenda

Hi Brenda,
so sorry to hear of your pain I can understand what you are going through as I have had this problem myself before it's so painful and I also believe you have carpel tunnel as well which in it's self is very painful also.
I believe you can get a glove that helps with the pain if I am right.
I do so hope you are soon out of pain and can continue to craft.
Your card is a wonderful idea and a fab make.
Love all those different colour heart stamed to create this.
Lots of crafty love and hugs from my house to yours. Jenny L.

A beautiful card Brenda and I love the colours that you've used. I occasionally get arthritis in my thumbs, so you have my sympathy as it's really painful and made even worse when you are not able to make cards. Hope it's better soon x
