New baby

I can't believe a week has gone by since I last posted. I haven't been making any cards because it was so pretty outside and I was getting out the lawn furniture and cleaning. Ugh. I think we hit close to 90 one day this past week. I turned on the air on Thursday and Friday (yesterday) it turned cold and windy! What? Today is cold too and the weather said we might have to turn on the heat! Tomorrow is the 500 and it is suppose to be in the 70"s. I can't keep up.

A dear friend of mine recently welcomed a new grandson. That is so exciting and this is the card I sent her. The baby is from La-La Land Crafts colored with Copics. The paper is from my stash made by DCWV.  The sentiment is also La-La Land.

An exciting weekend here and I'm trying to get everything done so I can watch the race. This year is one of the very few times it hasn't been blacked out here until it's over so this is a treat.

Foliage and berries

That is the name of the caschristmascardchallenge this month. I used a Penny Black die and colored it with Copic markers. The sentiment is also Penny Black. The way my month is going I was afraid I wasn't going to get to play in May so I'm happy to get this card made and add to my stash.

Have a great weekend.

Yummy cupcakes

As usual I'm late to the game but here are my cards for Twofer cake/cupcakes. The first is a birthday card using a Hero Arts cupcake and Simon Says Stamp sentiments. The sympathy card is a Technique Tuesday "so sorry" and a Judith cupcake sentiment.  Both cupcakes colored with Copic markers.

Finally

It took a week but here is a card. I've not only been running but also doing things that needed to be done and have been put off. I also had my second UTI in a month and that really drug me down. I didn't want to do anything I didn't have to do. I haven't been spending time on the computer either. While sitting on the couch I watched a very sweet, true story movie on Netflix called Hachi. Any dog lover especially would love this movie.

This is a birthday card for my grandson and I would like to play in the casmixup challenge this month. It's a fun one calling for us to do a rainbow through a stencil. I used a Kaisercraft stencil and just added a die cut sentiment to the center. I hope you all have a great week.

Happy Mother's Day to all Moms

I hope all the moms get to spend a lovely day with their children and grandchildren today. If you are far apart, I'm so glad we have so many ways of reaching out by Zoom, Facebook, Face Time and by all other means.

I have been a bad blogger this past week as well as a bad stamper. May is such a busy month for our family and believe it or not, I have been out and about after a year at home. I was out almost every day this past week and spent hardly any computer time. I haven't made any cards either and I need so many right now. I will be gone today and Monday, then I have to get busy so you will be hearing from me. I'm not used to all this activity and have had several naps during the week too. It seems if I get in the car and go somewhere the day is shot.  I will be with my whole family today for the first time is over a year. I wish it wasn't pouring rain and storming but it won't stop me.

This is a card I made for a special friend I made through blogging. I sponged DI in places over c/s, then stamped with a Lavinia stamp called Flora Spray. The sentiment was layered several times over white c/s for a shadow and a few black sequins were added.
