It's a good day

We have a beautiful day with sun and warm temps. My granddaughter and her boyfriend are coming to dinner and he is going to program my robo sweeper. Last Friday was his birthday and this is the card I made for him. A friend Carol, of  ourlittleinspirations, made a great card that she learned from The Paper Pixie https://www.youtube.com/. I loved this idea for a masculine card so I didn't go overboard and kept it simple.

I hope you all have a wonderful day too.

One last Easter card

I wanted to use my new Concord & 9 die so I made this card for Easter. I left it very clean because the flowers are so little I was afraid they would be overcome with anything else to distract from it. I'll add this to mynbus.

A few puns make me numb. Math puns make me number.

Have a wonderful day

Blessed Easter wishes to all who celebrate today and a wonderful day to everyone. We have temperatures in the 30's right now but it will warm up. My days of hiding eggs are over but I did get to spend time with my great granddaughter this past week. She was thrilled with Daisy and she played with her toys, not the children's toys I cleaned with alcohol wipes for her.

This card has a background made with blending brushes and DOX inks. I die cut a Gina Marie die from Tonic black mirror cardstock and left a sentiment off .  I love the way it came out.

Due to Covid19 Sweet Caroline is banned. There will be no reaching out, touching hands, touching me, touching you.

Easter card

I forgot to post yesterday! I try to post on Wednesdays and Sundays and I just plumb forgot. This card uses Lavinia stamps and stencil. I sponged a bit of background with a stencil called Feather Leaf and sponged the ground with brown ink. The bunnies were stamped in brown ink and then I added the tree.

My new die

When I saw this die at Simon Says Stamp I knew I had to order it. I love the design of it and it is so versatile. I made a very simple card this time but I have ideas for others. I die cut it several times for dimension and used purple cardstock. The sentiment is embossed in white. I will share in mynbus with my new die.

Almost finished

I'm so happy to be almost finished with my Easter cards and now get them ready to mail. It is a chilly, dreary day with a fog advisory so a perfect day to do it.  My card today used a Darice embossing folder. Then I inked over it with a lavender ink then added a die cut cross in the same color. In the theme of using up my stash, I dug out a flower and added it with a gem in the center.

If my body was a car, this is the time I would be trading it in for a new model because every time I sneeze either my radiator leaks or my exhaust backfires.

A polka dot egg

This was a quick and easy card to make. I cut nine ovals from a Spellbinder die with polka dot paper from my stash. Then folded them in half  and glued them together back to back to create the egg. The egg got a little thick with all those layers but I think it will flatten and mail okay.
