A little more breaking out

My sister in law came Monday and my son on Wednesday and we ate lunch on the front porch far apart from one another. It was wonderful to see "real" people and visit for a while. I am going to visit my grandson on Monday to see the new house and the card I sent is below. Also, going by my granddaughters new apartment and dropping off an end table for her. I will be masked up like the CDC says and not staying inside long. We will visit outside.

I used my new Birch Press string art die and a house die from Impression Obsession cut in red c/s and backed with yellow for lights inside. The sentiment is Catherine Pooler stamped on vellum.

I will add this to NBUS since the Birch Press die is visiting for the first time. as well as the Catherine Pooler sentiment.  I haven't made many cards but at least I used new products..

Be kind to one another.

Speaking of hair

which I do every day when I look in the mirror and cringe, I made this card to practice coloring hair. It had a lot of color already in it from inking the stamp, but I got to add some color to it.  I used several yellows and browns but you can't really tell. . My granddaughter is in beauty school and I thought this would be a fun card for her. They just got to return to class using masks and social distancing. They can't have customers yet so that's good. I used a brand new Ink Road stamp with the image and sentiment so I'll pop this card over at NBUS.

Be kind to one another.

My masterpiece

Today I want to welcome June of She dropped in to visit my blog and I hope you will have time to pop in and say hello to her.

I went out to eat  today - well not exactly out to eat. I went through the drive through but that's like going out. I was out! I went to Panda Express and they give you a fortune cookie with your order. Mine is below and I was so excited I had to make my masterpiece.

This is for the new for June. It is a new format using Mixed Media, Stencils and Watercolor rotating each month. This month is mixed media and we are to use embossed vellum. I used an embossing folder by Darice then embossed the daisy with a stylus. The centers are colored with a Copic marker and the sentiment is Gina K. It's not a real masterpiece but I did make a card so I'm happy and that gave me an incentive. I embossed, used a Copic marker and stamped.

Be kind to one another.
