Speaking of hair

which I do every day when I look in the mirror and cringe, I made this card to practice coloring hair. It had a lot of color already in it from inking the stamp, but I got to add some color to it.  I used several yellows and browns but you can't really tell. . My granddaughter is in beauty school and I thought this would be a fun card for her. They just got to return to class using masks and social distancing. They can't have customers yet so that's good. I used a brand new Ink Road stamp with the image and sentiment so I'll pop this card over at NBUS.

Be kind to one another.

This is so cute! But, let's not talk about hair. I was due for a haircut when all of this virus stuff started. lol Now it's to the point where it does whatever it wants. Take care! Hugs, Sharyn

I can tell! It is very nicely highlighted, Brenda, and so perfect for your beautiful and talented granddaughter! She will get such a kick out of it and put it on her stand! It's too late for me, but I think it would be so fun if everyone published a picture of their uncut hair on the same day! I'll bet headbands are making a comeback, huh? Take care and thank you for sharing with everyone at NBUS! Hugs, Darnell xxoo

I wish my hair looked like that! It's not quite long enough to pull up off my neck. Very annoying! Lucky you having a granddaughter learning to do hair! Hope she can as good a job of coloring hair as you did here!

I imagine we all need hair cuts badly Brenda! lol I know I do. I love this card, you did a great job of coloring this image's hair and I am loving how it turned out. I also love that it is a great card for your granddaughter, encouraging and uplifting! Glad to hear they could resume classes with their masks and social distancing. I'm also glad they aren't bringing in customers just yet too. Hugs, Brenda

Beautiful card with the highlights, so pretty! I'm sure your granddaughter will love the card! I was able to get an appt. last week for a hair trim. My hubby looked worse than me. I started calling him mountain man, lol! Good luck to your granddaughter in beauty school, how fun! Have a great weekend, hugs!!

WOW!! Absolutely wonderful card for your granddaughter, Brenda! I finally took the risk to get my hair cut & colored since it's now legal here. Can't say I felt that safe, however, even though I go to a long time friend who is the only operator in her shop. I could tell she's not as concerned/careful as I am. Feels wonderful not to be weighted down with so much hair, but I'll probably wait another 3 months before I go back unless things greatly improve when it comes to the virus. I can't tell you how often I think to myself that it was so meant to be for us to get together last year!
