It is official - I don't have room for any more stamp stuff. I have reorganized and tried my best to find a place for everything and there is no more room. I can't buy another thing. Unless...I could move the loveseat out of the room and get another shelving unit. Then I couldn't watch tv at night in there but I could watch in the living room I guess. Thoughts to ponder.

Dh has refused to go to daycare. He truly seemed surprised when I said he couldn't take care of himself and needed more care than I could give him.  He said "I can take care of myself and get dressed". That, however, is not true so that tells me how unaware he is about what goes on. Don't know what we will do now. Keep on keeping on, I guess.

I tried so hard to make cards today. Everything I did was not good. I imagine everyone has days like that. I wasted a lot of paper and got frustrated. I have a stamp that says Easter Blessings. It is red rubber and I put that on the block and took it off and stamped it over and over to get it straight. I could not make it stamp straight so I used it like it was. I really tried to make it work. The card I'm sharing now is for my oldest grandson. Very simple and male like except for the sentiment. It is all Lawn Fawn. Be kind to one another.

I'm sorry I've been gone so long. I didn't have all the tax documents I needed. This was the first year I had to take money from an IRA and I didn't have the 1099R. Had to call, then take the form back to tax preparer, then go back and pick up the completed forms, then bring home and have DH sign and take them back. That's all I did Mon, Tue and Wed. I'm so glad to have that done. I have also been talking to Nursing Homes and asking questions. I need some help and hope I can get DH to go to day care three days a week. He said he didn't want to go before but I think the time has come that he needs to. He wants to go to bed every day at 2 pm. He needs some stimulation and to talk to other people. He just wants to sit and watch his videos. He is bored and that makes him tired. I do see him drift off during the day and that is new. So I'm trying to work out what we can do that will be good for him and not upset him too much. I don't want to eat dinner at 3 pm!

This is the first day I have made a card and I need to get busy. Easter is sneaking up on me and I have done nothing. This is my first Easter card and it came out nothing like I pictured in my head. I used an old PSX stamp that I think is an NBUS and a NBUS Simon Says die called Woodland rectangular frame. So I am going to play in djkardkreations.com NBUS challenge. It is to use you're "never before used stuff". Be kind to one another.

Today is tax day. I don't mind going, I hate getting it all together. I put everything that comes in in one drawer. This year I couldn't find everything I needed and had to go back and re-create. It took forever so I won't make that mistake again.

I made this card for my nephew's wife who just had back surgery. They had to replace some discs in her back. She is going to be down for six weeks and will be off work. That is so hard. I am entering this in the challenge  that is going on now. These are Stampin Up stamps and paper. I colored the vases with a blender pen and Marina Mist and Crumb Cake ink because I didn't have the Saraha Sand. I thought the blender pen would soften the color. I hope that's okay.  Be kind to one another.

Happy St. Patrick's Day to everyone. We have a canal downtown that has a nice walking area throughout and every year our Mayor adds green to the water for St. Patrick's Day. There is also a parade. It has turned chilly with wind today so I hope they stay warm and toasty. We just got back from the vet and Molly got her xrays. Her knee cap popped out again yesterday but righted itself. The vet said if it keeps happening a lot he would consider doing surgery. If it is only occasionally he didn't think she needs it. If she has surgery she would wear the lampshade for two weeks and have to go out on a leash for six weeks as well as keeping her from jumping on the couch and running. I can't imagine doing that as she is so exuberant. Hopefully that won't happen.  Here is my last St. Patrick's Day card for granddaughter. Very simple again and she loves dogs so this seemed like the way to go. The dog is Simon Says stamp and the hat is a Lawn Fawn stamp, sequins and a bit of unknown ribbon. The greeting is a Morningstar stamp. Be kind to one another.

What a wonderful day it is here. It was in the 70's and just glorious. My SIL and I went to Nashville to poke around in the stamp shops. There are two right across the street from one another. Got a few things and some paper pads! They were on sale for 3.77 and I could not make myself walk out without them. Like I really need more paper! It was wonderful to get out of the house for a few hours. Todays card is for my youngest grandson and very simple. It's made with a cut out from Graphic 45 paper and the same embossing folder from the other day, one sequin and a ribbon.

I would like to welcome a new follower to my blog. She is Vicki of http://stuffbyvickie.blogspot.com/ and has been blogging since 2006.  I hope you have a chance to pop over and say hello.

Quick update on Molly. She seems to be doing okay. I called the vet back and they said her kneecap was completely out of joint when I took her in. Sometimes it will pop back into place on it's own and I have to think that's what happened. I am still taking her to be checked out with an xray just to make sure.

This card is one I made for my granddaughter. It is a Cuttlebug e/f and My Favorite Things stamp. I love this image of the sweet little girl with her shamrock. I am entering it in Challenge #142 - Use 3 Shades of Green for Loves Rubberstamps, Green with envy for Cuttlebug Mania and CMCC#62 - Colour Me... Striking! for Colour Me.

Help Me Dog Lovers

You know that phrase "When things get back to normal"? I keep saying it but things aren't back to normal. We have a new normal. The latest news is from our dog, Molly. Tuesday it rained here. She came in from outside and had wet feet. She was running and hit the plastic mat in the stamp room and flew across the room. I don't know what she ran into because it was so fast but she started screaming or yelping. I knew she was hurt. We went immediately to the vet and he said she has torn her patella ligament. After it happened she was right back to normal with a little limp. By evening that was gone and she is now running, scratching and jumping on the couch. She is to go Tuesday to the emergency vet to see if she needs surgery. For all you dog lovers out there - help me. Does she need surgery? I don't want her to be in pain (which doesn't seem to be the case) or to be crippled. So far she is acting like she always has and doesn't yelp or cry or seem to favor her leg. I just don't want to put her through that if it's not necessary. Thanks for your help.

This card was a quickie so I could get it in the mail for grandson. This is one of the new Darice embossing folders I got at the Heirloom show along with the stamp set from Sweet Stamps. I thought it was good for a guy. The greens all look so wonky in the picture, but they do look good together IRL. Be kind to one another.

Lots of sunshine today and the snow is melting. Maybe spring will come soon. I feel much better and thank you all for you well wishes. I haven't had a cold in a long time and I know where I got it. When I went to get my glasses, the tech said she was sorry she had a cough drop in her mouth but she had a cold and sore throat. Duh! She is on one side of the lens and I'm on the other. No surprise there. Anyway, I have an ear infection and sinus so I have an antibotic and feeling much more like myself.

My sister in law and I went to the Heirloom show on Saturday. I had a list and got most of the things I was looking for. Got three embossing folders, two dies, one ink pad (the new abandoned coral) distress ink), three stencils, one little rubber stamp and some inka gold in six colors. Also made a pendant in a make and take. There weren't very many booths and I'm surprised they still have it here but it was well attended. Everyone in front of me in line spent at least $75 and one lady spent $143. Oh my! Almost everything I got was under $10 and most under $5.

I was going to make a St. Patrick's Day card for my grandson today and send him some money to spend on Spring Break. I got hubby showered and myself, made a Hummingbird cake, am cooking chicken for Tetrazzini for dinner, fixed lunch and have my third load of laundry in and one more to go. I am tired! This old body can only do so much per day! The cake I really wanted to make so that's my fault. Hubby slept until 9:00 am and that threw my whole day off. It was noon by the time we had both showered. It takes an hour to shower, shave and dress him.

This card is one we made at stamp class. Very self explanatory and easy to do. I don't do much in pink so I do like this card. Be kind to one another.

I've been fighting a cold all week. Coughing, sniffles and sore throat, the whole cold thing. I am so tired but can't lay down because it makes me cough more. Yesterday it settled in my left ear so I have a doctors appointment today. We also just heard that our doctor of 27 years is retiring. That is the second doctor we have retired! Makes us sound so old. I'm so sorry to see him go. He is the most compassionate, caring man and takes all the time you need when you are with him. Also, you can always get in the same day you call and never have to wait in the waiting room. I told him one time there was no sense having magazines in the waiting room because I never got to completely read an article. But he is really busy with patients. I hope the office gals stay with the new crew as they are terrific too. We are lucky as I have heard horror stories of doctors. Anyway, I'm sharing a card  today that I sent as a thank you for blog candy I won with http://carolinacardsbymaryh.blogspot.com/. This stamp was one of the things she sent and this was my first time coloring with Spectrum Noir markers. The points are very stiff but I like that the colors in a package all blend together. I haven't been making any new cards this week due to feeling so lousy so I hope to get busy next week. Tomorrow is the Heirloom show here and I really want to go. It is suppose to warm up so it should be a nicer day to be out.  Be kind to one another.

Wow, six inches of snow last night and this morning, a break and now it is snowing again! Where is spring when you need it? I'm so ready to be out of this cold, cold winter. Have been watching movies the last two days. Boyhood, Gone Girl, 22 Jump Street and the Internship. I still want to see St. Vincent, Birdman, Still Alice and The Theory of Everything and a few others. Normally I only go to the movies to see funny or happy shows. This new group of movies are different and Gone Girl was a trip.

Today's card was another one I did in stamp class. We stamped the background and used the Blendabilities to color. I don't have any and don't think I would get any. I love my copics too much. I've used the Spectrum Noir but the nibs are pretty rigid. I like the softer tip of the copics. I do like the card though. Be kind to one another.
