Using the gelli plate card

I made a lot of cards using the gelli plate and here is another one. This card used the circle with yellow and blue alcohol inks and 91% alcohol on the gelli plate and moved around with the puffer tool.  I used a Lavinia stamp over the circle when dry. The sentiment is from Stampin' Up.

If you think you are hungry you might just be thirsty. Drink a pitcher of margaritas and see how you feel.

Be kind to one another.

I've never even attempted a gelli plate but am loving this and other things you've done with one. LOVE that flower stamp too. It's so pretty and perfect with that wonderful sentiment.

To my shame my Gel plate lies still in it's original packaging listening to me saying
'I must have a go with the gelli plate'!
A really lovely backdrop for those gorgeous poppies Brenda!

I love these colors in your alcohol ink circle! You got some fantastic backgrounds with this technique, my friend! Love the silhouetted poppies too!

Brenda, your colour combo on this one is sooooo beautiful, such soft tones with the blue mixing with the yellow. The silhouette poppies are a perfect addition.
As I mentioned this technique is so addictive, great way to create a stash of backgrounds :)

Another pretty design using your gelli prints, Brenda! I love the pastel dreamy look of the colors. And great joke! Sadly, that wouldn't work for me. If I drink a pitcher of margaritas, I feel like nachos, three enchiladas, maybe a couple of tacos ... and then for dinner ... ! xoxo Darnell

I have yet to try using a gelli plate, but you're using yours to it's full potential! This looks so pretty with those colors and silhouette images and I love those edges on the white panel too!
