A Play Day

In my quest to use my pattern paper, I had a play day with paper from Kaisercraft. The sentiment is a cut apart and the paper is from the same 6.5 pad called Magenta. I think Kaisercraft has the most beautiful papers and I hate to cut into it (which is why I have so many uncut pads).  The stamp is Stampin' Up. The bottom strip is from a Penny Black die.

I visited the Air and Space Museum. There was nothing there.

Be kind to one another.

Beautiful inspirational card. With pretty paper like that you don't need a lot else on a card. I am like you in hating to cut into those styles papers. Then when I get a card made, I hate to send it and want to save it to look at.

That is a great idea how to use patterned paper, Brenda. I like your card. Paper is wonderful. I have the same problems by cutting patterned paper and have also a lot of them uncut.

Hi Brenda,
this is such a beautiful card and that paper used is so pretty and of course it's one of my fave colours.
Love the stamped image and that sentiment is fabulous.
A great joke it's so subtle I nearly didn't get it.
Lots of crafty love and hugs from my house to yours. Jenny L.

I'm glad you had a play date with Kaisercraft, Brenda! The results are beautiful and you should give yourself a pat on the back. I love the sediment and your spacey joke, too! Hugs, Darnell

Such a pretty card Brenda, I love the color of the paper and cut apart. Cut apart make great cards, love this inspirational one you chose for this card. Your die cut border is perfect for the bottom of the card and I love the SU stamp you used. Your joke is too cute and how I feel some days, nothing but space and air up in my brain! LOL Hugs, Brenda

Such a sweet card, Brenda! It is hard to cut into beautiful papers, but makes me happy to see them on a card when I finally do!

You are right, those are beautiful papers and I'm sure they are glad to see the light of day! The stamping on the bottom is a lovely balance with the design on the top! I'm off to give Gene your joke for his next meeting.

A beautiful card Brenda, lovely papers - I love Kaisercraft as well, I have quite of few of their beautiful pads that I can't bring myself to cut into!
It's good to be back after spending the last month sorting out my craft room.
