Whoa, chilly

Taking Daisy out this morning was a chilly start to wake us up today. Very overcast and dreary and made me rethink my choice of clothes for today since it will be like this all day. Great cardmaking day!

This is a quick and simple birthday card . I am rooting around in my craft supplies and trying to  use things I bought for no reason and need to give some love to. These are Penny Black stickers from a sticker sheet. Just added to a card panel and stamped Happy Birthday and white embossed it. It may be an easy card but I bought the sticker sheet because I loved the flower, butterfly and the gorgeous colors so, of course, I love the way the card turned out.

Be kind to one another.

I do believe that I have that very sticker sheet in my stash for the very same reason. I love your resulting card. Quick and simples but elegant. I love it when a plan comes together. Autumn is certainly in the air and the nights are already drawing in even though the clocks do not fall back till the end of October. Hugs Mrs A.

Way to use your stash, and those stickers are really pretty. I was just using some Halloween stickers earlier this morning too! Yay us for using what we already have :)

Those are beautiful stickers and they really make an elegant card! I had to laugh when I read the weather made you rethink your clothing choice. Cold weather always makes me rethink my life choices!

That is indeed a lovely card. I used all my stickers up. I don’t think they make them anymore.

Beautiful stickers that make for a lovely fall card! I just saw a video from betz_golden(Betsy Golden) on Instagram about the store The Paper Collage in Peoria, AZ. She showed lots of beautiful stickers that the store sells to make quick and easy cards. The store is in the same town that my SIL lives. I hope to visit the store some day. Anyways, I just thought I’d let you know. Take care, hugs, Maria!

I've always admired the Penny Black stickers and this is another example of why! It may be quick and easy but it's a beautiful card! Great job of using that stash, Brenda! Enjoy the cooler weather! Our air conditioning is out and I'm praying for cool weather!

We had a perfect day on Sept. 11th this year and 19 years ago. It was a little eerie to me. But then Saturday we had your day, raw and cloudy out. Temps stayed low all day. Love your card and I wouldn't have thought your flowers or butterfly was a sticker! They are so pretty, pretty colors as if it was stamped and colored. I can see why you love this card, it is a beautiful for sure! Hugs, Brenda

Very beautiful card Brenda. I love the butterfly you've added. The sticker and butterfly look amazing on the deep coloured card base. Autumn is here ... but apparently only for a short time here. We are expecting to have sunny and warm temps next week. xx
