Playing in a new challenge

I don't play in a lot of challenges but I wanted to make a card for the new Color Hues challenge by Nancy. I am delighted to add this card today. I made it for my Daughter in Law's birthday using a Thinlits Sizzix Intricate Lace die in yellow and die cutting the green leaves with a die from Memory Box called Fresh Foliage.  The sentiment is Stampin' Up embossed in Butter Zing embossing powder. A great challenge and it's fun to combine colors.

Be kind to one another.

Such a lovely card, Brenda, in those cheerful colors! Your daughter-in-law is a lucky lady to receive this card. She's a lucky lady because she got you for a mother-in-law!

HI Brenda,
I'm a new visitor to your blog and happy that I came! I see that you love online card classes - me too! We are happy that you joined us at Color Hues. The delicate die cut in your card is the perfect backdrop for the green foliage. Beautiful! Hope to have you play again - challenges are a great way to 'meet' new stampers.

I did see this new challenge somewhere in blogland, think it was on Kristie's blog. You have knocked this challenge right out the ball park Brenda! Your card is stunning!!! I love that lace die, it is so delicate and feminine. I also love those leaves, so pretty on top of the yellow lacy die! The leaves die is pretty amazing as well. Love that you kept the sentiment small, but yet it is still there, it doesn't fight with the other elements though. Love that. I bet your DIL loved her card, I know I do! Hugs, Brenda
