Finally

I'm watching the NFL on CBS. Sorry, I'm just so happy to have football back. No card today.
Opened a bag of candy corn, put some in a custard cup and clipped bag shut, left in kitchen. Later, opened bag, took a few, clipped bag up, left in kitchen. Went in later, took clip off bag, carried into craft room. I'm doomed. Seven weeks until Halloween, oh dear.

Be kind to one another.

Oh my goodness--you made me laugh out loud, Brenda! We're happy to be watching football, too! Wish we were together & I'd help you with that bag of candy corn! The smoke is making it cold here. I have on socks, long pants & a sweatshirt! Now if only we'd get some rain!

Oh, gosh, they are addictive, for sure! I could see me doing that exact same thing...because once you eat one, you may as well finish the bag and be done with it right? Until you go back to the store and say to yourself you will be better so you buy another bag! I feel your guilt my friend!! Greta is right, I am cold inside my house also, have on long shirt and socks on my feet and long pants too! I think we have the fan going al the time to help with the air, not pulling air into house, just circulating what we have!

Things are turning back to normal. :-) Including eating candies during watching sport on TV. :-)
Have fun! Hugs, Sonja

lol, I hear you! Although I'm more of a baseball fan, those snacks keep calling my name regardless of where I put them LOL Enjoy!!

I am not a sports fan but am glad to have some back on TV to keep my husband occupied. He gets bored and wants to go out all the time. With the candy, look at it this way--you get more steps in your day if you keep it in the other room.

Glad you are enjoying football and candy corn. My downfall is Dove chocolate.

🍬🌽 Look at it this way. There prolly won't be Halloween trick-or-treaters this year. Therefore it is our civic duty to buy and eat copious amounts of candy so the candy people don't go out of bizness. Thank you for your efforts!! Very truly yours, NCCA (I'm off to get a flu shot and to buy five giant "ALL CHOCOLATE!!" bags. That will last me until Thursday.)

Bret is happy to have football back too Brenda! I can take it or leave it. Learn to watch because of having all men in my house so while I don't hate it, I'm not exactly a fan either. Love that you are though! I had to laugh at the candy corn thing as it sounds just like me. I got a bag myself about 3 weeks ago....it didn't even last but barely a week if that! I kept grabbing a handful every time I walked by the jar. lol We are both domed! haha Enjoy the football games my friend! Hugs, Brenda

Was going to comment on your "tree" cards, then I saw a reference to candy corn and had to investigate. Oh. My. Goodness. You've cracked me right up! "Jimmy crack (candy) corn, and I don't care...." Sorry. Pretty sure we all do the same thing with all kinds of our favorite snacks. I stopped buying spice drops, and now they'll probably go out of business, lol!! You are too funny! xo Bev
p.s. going back to trees now...

We just wish they had college Big 10 football. My husband just retired and he was so looking forward to watching Ohio State play. I could go on and on about it, but I won’t! Yes, the candy corn, yum!! I did buy a bag of it! I nearly bought a bag of chocolate, too, lol! Take care and have a great week, hugs!!

:) Candy corn, yummy! I find having candy in the house is a bit haunting. It is constantly calling my name. :) xx
