Layered stamping

Things seem to be back to normal. I'm sharing my card for CAS Mix Up Card Challenge today. I used a layering tulip from Stampin' Up. The layers are stamped with Versamark ink. The first layer is embossed with Zing mustard e/p, second layer with Zing lavender e/p and third layer is Ranger gold tinsel e/p. Wow, I'm glad I tried this as it really makes an impact. I didn't have a green e/p so I colored in the stem with a Copic. I hope that's okay. Then stamped the sentiment with a Penny Black stamp. I added a few sequins.  I stamped, layered, embossed and used sequins.

Be kind to one another.

This is beautiful, Brenda! The layers of stamping and different color worked beautifully with this stamp. A perfect pick! The Copic stem is fine and adds another form of mixed media. Thanks so much for sharing this with us at CAS Mix Up!

Beautiful! You used three gorgeous layers of color to create this fabulous blossom. You inspired me to try this. Love it. Also glad you are up and running again. Computer issues are so frustrating!

Be.u.ti.ful. I like that "hug" verse also. Placement of sequins are especially attractive also. You are really good at card making.

I'm looking at a winner, Brenda! This is gorgeous! I was amazed, too, at the impact and how easy it is to do this with a Misti. And you went the extra mile using three e/ps! (Off to check out that sediment set!) Miss you! Hugs, Darnell

Beautiful tulip and wonderful how the gold EP shows up so well to define it. I would never thought of using three EPs either.
