My heart goes out

to all those impacted by the tornados this past week. One of my friends lives in a city where one tornado touched down here on Friday night and I can't reach her yet. The power hasn't been restored as of today.

I've started my Easter cards this week. I can't seem to get started early on holiday cards and I don't know why. It has been a busy week and I don't seem to plan ahead. This card was made by sponging different colors on cardstock then using a Simon Says Wavy Egg die over it. I popped up the strips over the panel, then removed the die. The panel is blue but shows white in the picture.

Spring is really here. I got so excited I wet my plants.

Be kind to one another.

So pretty. Love that Easter egg die. This tornado was especially devastating. II've seen videos from several places. I hope you make contact with your friend soon.

I really like how you've colored this fun egg and made such a great CAS card with it. Spring weather has been wicked once again this year for so many folks and thankfully we've been spared. Prayers going out for those who have lost so much in the storms.

We have sunshine today yay! Sitting in the summer house soaking it up. Love your Very CAS egg. Brilliant for using up strips of design paper too. I needed to make an egg ASAP yesterday. The only egg shape I had to hand was an expensive clay one much too heavy to use so first I tried making an 🥚 shape from an egg carton by cutting Two of the holders and placing upside down together with a large bead on top. Nada! Next I tried using one holder with stuffing put in the top even more of a Nada so I cut straight to the chase and got a real egg from the fridge. Then the real fun began. Carefully drilled a hole in the top with a scewer( I really know how to play dangerously then enlarged a little bit with nail scissors . Shook the egg out , did it want to come out ? Nada. Eventually (yawn) sometime later got it out and then filed the shell with soapy water and cleaned/dried it. So now I have an egg with a rather large hole in one end . Next brilliant idea was “know let’s decoupage with lots of tiny pieces of torn off design paper”. If you ever hear that voice in your head ignore it but I didn’t and ploughed on. Finally got the egg and me plastered and left out to dry. Result is one passable decorated egg and a bonus of a bread and butter pudding for the Doc tonight. Well I wasn’t going to waste the egg was I not after all the trouble I went to getting it out of its shell. Hugs Mrs A.
Which came first the chicken or the egg. If I ever find the chicken responsible she will be on the dinner table pronto.

I'm sorry about all the suffering, too, and I've heard that another series of storms is following the exact same path tonight. Saying 🙏🙏. I love this wavy egg in the beautiful pastel Easter colors! Great sponging, Brenda! (I laugh every time I read that joke!)

I love this sweet CAS Easter card Brenda! The different colors are so pretty and of course very Easter looking. That egg die is pretty darn cool too. I am the same way Brenda, I am having a hard time getting holiday cards done and out as well. I haven't even made on Christmas card for the stash yet! I don't know why either. sigh...Happy Easter my sweet friend! Hugs, Brenda
