For my neighbor

My neighbor had a bad car accident and is rehab recovering from broken ribs, bad headaches and back issues. The neighborhood is making her a Sunshine Basket for anyone who wants to contribute something. I made her this card and I'm adding some books, as she is an avid reader.

I used Distress Inks for the background color and a Simon Says embossing folder, Lumen, along with the Paper Hugs die from them. We don't know how long she will be there.

If you see a toilet in your dreams, do not use it.

Be kind to one another.

I'm sorry your neighbor is suffering so and I hope she recovers soon. It's heartwarming that you are looking after each other in your neighborhood. She will love this very pretty card of paper hugs! (You're joke is no joke ~ I'm afraid one day I'll do that, eek!) Hugs, Darnell

Pretty card. I love that die cut. In the absence of real hugs, paper ones are great. Your neighbor will definitely enjoy this. How kind of you all to take her a sunshine basket.

Oh Brenda, I am so sorry to hear this news about your neighbor! Sending prayers, I know all about broken ribs and back issues! Bret just found out yesterday (his birthday) that two of his bosses were killed in an avalanche when they were skiing. Only in their late 50's. So much tragedy anymore it seems. Love your card for your neighbor, hoping it will brighten her/his day along with the sunshine basket! Love the colors you used on this one and of course that embossing folder is fabulous as is the sentiment. Loved the joke, and can relate to it too. When I was a young child I would dream that I was using the toilet, as soon as I felt it, I jumped out of bed! lol Thanks for keeping us laughing as that is the best medicine. Hugs, Brenda
