Sadly my last Twofer

Here is my last submission to Twofer. I've enjoyed it so much and it made me look at my stamps differently. Now I can get started on NBUS pile!

I used a Lavinia stamp called Mooch for both cards and on the Halloween card I used a Lavinia tree stamp. I brushed on Distress Oxide inks for the background after masking the moon. Then I brushed a bit of color over it and stamped bats for Mooch to watch fly by. I colored two Lawn Fawn pumpkins with Copics and fussy cut them to add at the base of the tree.

The birthday card uses a Simon Says Stamp set and dies.  I colored the fish with Copics and added stickles to both and glossy accents to the body of the orange fish.  The waves are embossed with white e/p. After adding the fish to the bowl, I covered it with acetate, then the frame. Mooch would love to get one of those fish for dinner.

Thank you, Darnell, for four years of enjoyment with this fun challenge. I met lovely new bloggers and had a terrific time each month.

Be kind to one another.

Your final TCC entries will inspire anyone looking at the gallery, Brenda! They are great examples of how to rock making two different designs using the same stamp. And, of my, isn't Mooch a great stamp?! I've never seen him stamped other than as a silhouette, but I think he is equally fabulous as a tabby being mesmerized by a colorful and schparkly pair of twofer fishies! So clever! As for your classic Halloween design, you checked all the boxes with the necessary elements that make it classic, all beautifully composed and colored. Thank you so much for being with us from the very beginning of the Twofer Card Challenge all the way to the last challenge. Your support and enthusiasm has meant the world to me and the entire Team! Mwah, my friend! Hugs, Darnell

What a clever use of that cat image on each card! I love the Halloween colors of the night sky and that kitty staring at the fishbowl is too cute - and typical of cats too! Great job!

I so love the scene you created on this one. The birthday card is so fun. Mooch looks great as a tabby and not just a silhouette. I love how he is looking at those fishes. lol So cute! Great job! I know many are going to miss the Twofer Challenge. But there is still the NBUS. And God knows, we all have a pile of that, right?!! Some of us have piles that are years old! sigh Hugs, Brenda

Dang, girl! These are just fabulous cards! Mooch is one awesome kitty. He looks 'hungry' on your birthday card, and just a little spooky on your Halloween card. Funny how one stamp can look so different. Your background on that Halloween card is sincerely stunning. Wowzers! All that shadowing, and the night sky is, well, spook-tacular! Thank you so much for joining us for this final Twofer Challenge, and for being such a faithful Twofer joiner-inner all these years. It's a treat to see your cards every single time. Sending hugs, not saying good-bye though... : ) Bev

Amazing cards Brenda!! LOVE that sweet Mooch! It looks a bit scary for the fish to have him sitting so close. :) And perfect for a Halloween card. Love the scene you've created with the eery night sky with bright moon. Great work, my friend! xx
