Heat advisory for again today

It is so hot again and can't make up it's mind. We have either rain or extreme heat. The whole country is having such wacky weather this year. I can't go out in this kind of heat so cardmaking is my priority today. Inspired by the casmixup challenge that is asking for stamping through a stencil I made this card. The stencil is from Neat and Tangled. It is a strip of balloons but I just used just one and moved it around. I inked through the stencil, then using a Lawn Fawn alphabet stamp set, I stamped happy over each balloon through the stencil. The birthday word is by Die-namics dies. It needed something more, so by taking some advice from a dear friend, I scored a few lines beneath the birthday.

Be kind to one another.

The weather is on everyone's minds these days. We are very hot again on the west coast all the way up to Canada and unusually muggy, too. Don't send thunderstorms our way, but if you could send a bit of rain, we would welcome it. Your birthday card is complete fun, Brenda, and as festive as can be! I love the way you stamped the HAPPY inside the rainbow of balloons and I like the added score lines, too. Stay cool! Hugs, Darnell

Oh what a fun BD card, Brenda! I need to get with it & make something for the challenge. Oh my goodness--this weather is terrible! Luckily, we don't have the high humidity with our hot temps, but it still means I can't stand to be outside for more than a few minutes at a time. Just wish we'd get some rain. Not sure I remember what it's like--haha!

Gosh...how clever of you to stamp the letters thru your beautiful stenciled balloons for your Happy and then add the stamped Birthday and scored lines:-) A much more fun and productive time crafting instead of melting in the heat...ugh! Take care, Brenda. So pleased you joined us at CAS Mix Up. Hugs...Nancy

That is really a great use of that balloon stencil! I love the different colors and I forget to do those score lines myself, but they finished this card perfectly!

Your score lines just finish the card perfectly. Love your balloon idea too. Weather certainly is doing odd things around the world. Extreme temperatures in Scicly now that are unheard of. Hugs Mrs A.

It has been extremely hot and humid this this year, I feel like I am living in Florida. lol Not that I've been outside at all since this knee thing, but I feel the humidity and heat when I open the door to let the dogs out. It's like opening an oven door! I love your card Brenda, you have did a great job with this challenge. Such a fun and festive card! Hugs, Brenda

Cute and colourful. Love the rainbow balloons. Fabulous CAS design.

I’m not good with the heat either. Besides the heat, we’re dealing with smoke from all the forest fires, too. We would welcome rain in a heartbeat. Great reason to stay inside and make cards. 😉
