A new discovery

This is the only Magenta stamp I have and it is an older one. It is called a puzzle set because there are six different scenes you can make. I chose three of the images, although they are all gorgeous, and colored them with Copics and arranged them in this formation. The leaves along the bottom are ribbon.

I made a terrible discovery yesterday. I sat down on the floor to go through a box of things and when I went to get up I learned that I can no longer just pop up off the floor like days of old. I had to turn over on my knees, then push myself up. When did that happen. There was a time if I was cross legged on the floor I could just stand up without even uncrossing my legs. It's unlikely I will appear on Dancing with the Stars any time soon.

Be kind to one another.

What a wonderful card with those 3 sections and leafy ribbon at the bottom. So Dancing with the Stars is over for you huh? A couple months ago I sat on the floor to play with my neighbor's new puppy and faced the same reality! I couldn't even turn over - I had to scoot to the basement steps, drop my feet down a few steps and then stand back up! YIKES!! Life changes in a heartbeat doesn't it? LOL Happy Thanksgiving!

Hi Brenda,
what a very gorgeous card and I love that wonderful design.
Beautifully coloured also and a great sentiment as well.
Welcome to the old age club I have been the same for quite a few years now.
I dred it if I have to get on the floor for something and I try my hardest not to these days.
Lots of crafty love and hugs from my house to yours. Jenny L.

Brenda, your card is simply the best! I like how you put the puzzles together. it is a perfect autumn motif. And perfectly colored too.
The discovery you made is just the proof that we have to take our age with dignity. :-) Don't worry about it. It has to be that way. :-)
Take care and stay safe! Hugs, Sonja

Beautiful card, Brenda, I love your design. You're not alone in your description of getting up off the floor - you could have been describing me! xx

Beautiful Brenda, these little puzzle sets are great for creating different layouts.
As for sitting on the floor- my back is what keeps me from getting up gracefully :)

Beautiful coloring, Brenda! I have a lot of old Magenta stamps--should pull them out as I really do love them! Well, I'm glad not to be the only one who can't get up & down from the floor like we used to!

A ribbon? How cool is that?! I love the framing and arrangement of this beautiful fall design, Brenda! And your coloring is perfection! I had to chuckle at your new discovery. You are doing tons better than me if this is just now happening to you! I remember it well when it started happening to me about seven years ago . . . it was a dark and stormy night . . . Happy Thanksgiving! Keep well! Hugs, Darnell

Your card is so gorgeous. Wonderful design and beautifully colored. Well, at least you can get up by yourself. I am not that lucky anymore.

I have been getting out of the bath that way for yonks. The weight of water does help to slide over.
Lol. Getting older is so not much fun. Hugs Mrs A.

It comes as a bit of a shock when your body stops working how you think it should doesn't it!
