You're never to old to ride the merry go round. I have a girlfriend who loves carousel horses so I'm sending her this birthday card. I'm also sharing it at May CAS Stencil Challenge. I didn't realize how hard this was going to be because of the stencil I used. It is a Memory Box and I sponged DOX in Candied Apple and Fossilized Amber. That wasn't hard. But, then I started adding glass bead paste. That's when I realized scraping it off each individual star was going to be the real challenge! I wanted a clean card so I only used some of the stars on the stencil. This might not be clean and simple after all. The stamp is Altenew stamped in red ink and the glitter on the carousel is Stickles. It's done and here it is.

I love all the added sparkle to your image and starry background! It's beautiful and your friend will love it! The carousel was my favorite amusement park ride as a child too. Now I'm sure after one round I'd get dizzy and fly off LOL

I love the bright colors and that great sparkle! The selective stenciling with the glass bead gel was a true labor of love! It looks CAS to me, but I'm no CAS expert, lol!
