Welcome

I'm happy to welcome my newest follower Carol of https://crafty-stamper.blogspot.com/. She is in the UK and I think you will enjoy dropping by her blog and saying hello.

I have a card today made in my SU class that I'm sharing in the https://caswatercolour.blogspot.com/.
and https://dayofthemonthcardclub.blogspot.com). Darnell and Christine  told me about the rhino challenge. We are to make a card for a child in watercolor. The rhino was outlined with a gray water color pencil, then used a water brush to pull out the color. I don't know why I can't seem to do that with Zigs. I still need to practice with them. The green piece was embossed with leaves and a black frame added around the rhino. Die cut leaves were glued behind the white piece. Watercolor, dry embossing, die cuts and stamping were used.

Be kind to one another.

Very sweet card, Brenda. I like how you angled your die-cut frame and added the leaves too. Cute rhino!

I like the way you have coloured your Rhino n. He looks fab. He certinly won't go short of food either. It's a mixed bag of weather here in the UK. One minute sunny the next wt and windy. Summer should be here by now!! Hugs Mrs A.

I love how you’ve placed the frame round your sweet hippo.

You colored the rhino perfectly, Brenda. I still face problems when watercoloring with ZIGS but I am sure that soon we will be better. Great card, my friend.

Great watercolor rhino, Brenda! A wonderful layout too. I have best luck pulling color from the Zigs using mixed media paper (Strathmore 400 series). The ink doesn't soak into the paper like it does on watercolor paper. Happy Mother's Day, my friend.

Love this card Brenda, it is so fun for a child! I love your rhino coloring, I have issues with my Zigs too, user error and I need lots of practice as well. lol Some days I love them and other days I get frustrated. Looks like Bonnie has a good suggestion for the paper to use them on, I will have to look for that one. Hugs, Brenda

What a fun off-set design you've created for your handsome rhino, Brenda! That's one critter I don't have. It's a perfect image for a child! It's also perfect for the Day of the Month Club challenge where, if you can believe it, the day they are celebrating this month is "Save the Rhino Day!" You nailed that theme! Here is the link: https://dayofthemonthcardclub.blogspot.com/2019/05/3-save-rhino-day.html. Happy Mother's Day!! Love, Darnell

In the green and between many leaves, which taste particularly good, a rhino feels well and we hope that it can live so long happy. Beautifully designed card. Thank you for showing them to our current Challenge of DotMCC.
