Coloring on a stamp

I would like to share my new follower with you. She is Sathya of http://sathyapapercrafts.blogspot.com/. Sathya is from India and she is a wonderful card maker that I hope you can visit.

The other day Bonnie posted a card where she colored on the stamp, then moved the color with a waterbrush.  Every one of you that has done that impresses me and I finally tried it.  I need to practice but I "get it". Maybe a little less ink and more water. I'll keep at this because I like the watercolor look with this technique. This is a Penny Black stamp and a sentiment from Mama Elephant stamped and embossed on vellum.

Be kind to one another.

It's my favorite technique, Brenda, and I think you rocked it!! It's funny because I brought along a card front I did with that method in order to use it for Nancy's cut-up class and it was this image, which I love. I told the girls that I had borrowed it from someone on my fall retreat trip, but I couldn't remember who! And then you posted this, so wallah! Can you email me the name of the stamp so I can order it when I get home? I just love the leaves and how they look like they are partially feathers! I hope you aren't in the storm path any longer! Hugs, Darnell

I've never added water with a brush before I stamped an inked stamp, but will have to try it. Your card is just beautiful, Brenda!
