Stained glass

The stained glass challenge this month has the most beautiful cards and I couldn't wait to play. I followed what Loll did by using alcohol inks on acetate. Then I die cut the image from a Penny Black die four times in white c/s. I adhered three together and added them over the acetate when it was dry. Then filled the openings with Nuvo crystal glaze. When that was dry I added the fourth die cut. The stamp is Avery Elle. For this challenge I used die cuts, stamping and stained glass. This is a great challenge. Happy Birthday to the CAS mix up card challenge's third birthday. Doesn't the time fly by?

Be kind to one another.

Your alcohol ink on acetate background is simply gorgeous, Brenda! With the Faux Stained Glass technique, you created a wonderful sunset scene behind the layered die-cuts. The white leaves and flowers beautifully pop against the background. Thanks so much for joining us at CAS Mix Up!

Really gorgeous results with this technique, Brenda! Isn't playing with AI addicting? I always forget about using them directly on acetate. This technique of stacked dies over the top makes it look prezackly like stained glass! Hope you are having a break from the snow! Hugs, Darnell xxoo
