Top of the Morning to You

Happy St. Patrick's Day to all. I didn't make any St. Paddy's day cards this year. I have started on my Easter cards way ahead of time.

This teeny little purple piece inside the Tattered Lace die window is the best of my Ghosting piece. It is my third try and something I cannot seem to get right. It is a Tim Holtz doily stencil over sponged Distress Inks, then spritzed with water and the stencil removed. After a bit I used a paper towel over the paper. Only this part of the paper got the impression of the stencil so that's what I used rather than put myself through the trauma of trying again. I do love it though. The bunny is Impression Obsession and I used a pink Copic marker on his ears and a Doodlebug black pearl for his eye.  The sentiment is stamped in Stampin' Up ink with a Verve stamp. I am sending this to the CAS Stencil Challenge using stencils this month.

Be kind to one another.

What a cute little bunny layered over your pretty ghosted panel Brenda! Thanks for trying the technique and sharing with us at CAS Stencil! maybe try rubbing over the stencil with a damp baby wipe next time? That's the technique use for ghosting (just a suggestion!) xx

It doesn't look like there's anything wrong with it - it's a cute bunny with a very pretty colorful piece peeking through the window and I like it :) Ghost or no ghost, it's a cute card :)

This sweet little bunny looks like he's enjoying your ghosted background, Brenda! Such a pretty Spring color and I can see the ghosting. I had trouble with this technique too. I lost count of how many times I tried it and used just a small portion of the piece.

This little bunny is adorable Brenda and I love the purple lacy background. I have trouble with water spritzing too, but I love how yours turned out. The ghosting creates lots of gorgeous texture. Thankyou for playing along at CAS Stencil, Cathy x
