I'm not giving up

The saga continues. They told me Saturday that Comcast would send a tech out to fix the phone and they would call me and let me know when he would be here. I didn't hear from them so I called yesterday since they didn't call Sunday when she said they would or Monday. Went through the prompts and was told I had to call a different number. Did that and went through the prompts again. That person had me do all the exact same things I did Saturday.  Then said they tried to call me Sat. and let me know when he would come but they got a busy signal. I asked what number they called. They called my home phone number that is not working!  He said they would call yesterday or today and let me know when someone is coming. I could not believe they called my home number, then just gave up and didn't schedule a person to come.

I know I probably share too much information and you may be tired of slogging through all this pitiful part of my life. It's even boring to me. When I read through the comments you leave, they are wonderful and uplifting but it makes me realize you are always have to say you are sorry. Sorry I'm sick, sorry I fell, sorry I'm so pathetic. This is my real life and I hope by sharing you all can relate that you are not alone when you deal with all this yucky life stuff. From now on, I'll put the card information first then you can just go on to the next blog. That way I'll still have a record of what went on when and you can skip all that. But for today, here is another card.

This is one of the SU class cards and it is meant to be encouraging. (I should put it in an envelope and send it to myself). Frogs seem to be popular in a big way right now and I was glad to make a card with him, but I didn't buy the stamp as I have a cute frog stamp already.

Edited:  Just got a call and my phone is fixed. It was a programming error and was fixed at their end without coming out.  All systems are working!

Be kind to one another.

Amazing card, Brenda. And really inspiring too. Yes, I feel exactly the same to you some times. And some times I make encouraging cards because I need encouragement! Hope that everything will go well with your phone. Kisses, my friend.

Cute card, you should send it to yourself. (that would probably be the only card I would get sometimes.) I wouldn't worry if you write about problems and stresses of life. That's life you know and stuff happens. I had to switch companies...what a hassle. But I am $75 cheaper then the 1st one. NOW they are offering me a better deal and cheaper. Why did they not offer it when I was with them. But serves them right for charging so much in the first place!!!!! Onward to the next problem....lol!

Hi Brenda,
it does one good to have a moan and let out your steam to someone.
I for one am not fed up with your probs I would like to think we are all like next door friends that you can let your frustration out so they are not bottled up inside.
We all get so frustrated with such problems, and some have peeps living with them to talk to about it.

your card is so lovely and I agree Frogs seem to be the in thing at the mo.
Love how you have background stamped too.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

I laughed when I read you should send this card to yourself. You are so funny, Brenda!! So happy the phone is fixed and you don't have to waste anymore time with Comcast! YAY! Adorable card Brenda. xx

A problem shared is a problem halved, and with all your friends on here, that means they must get very small indeed :) .
Completely understand your frustration, it's actually quite unusual these days that we get to speak to a human without hassle, and get a simple resolution. So I am happy indeed it's been fixed, and I love your card. My frogs are arriving today, so I hop you don't mind if I use your idea, and hop you have a hoppy day too xxx

I truly feel we are all here to help one another, Brenda. It helps to vent at times. Sharing our struggles may help another person in a similar situation. And, I’m happy to hear that the Comcast problem got resolved! Your card is so cute and fun with the frog! My MIL would love this card for she collects frogs. Take care and I hope the rest of your week goes well!

I was just going to answer your email to see how it went yesterday when the tech was coming out and then I saw your post come in. Please don't stop sharing. I like to read what's going on in my friends' lives, even the frustrating schtuff because, as you said, it makes us feel we aren't alone when we, too, have to deal with incompetence and lack of common sense from companies! I know exactly what you mean about calling your broken number. It's the same thing they (Comcast) does here when your internet is not working. You call the number and the recording says, "You know, you can resolve your issues by visiting comcast.com! Well, duh! I would if I could! See, by you venting, then we get to vent back! Now I won't have to have my 10 a.m. wodka this morning. Thank you!

You know I love froggies, so I love your sunny froggy card of encouragement. If you don't send it to yourself (a great idea!), send it to me and then I'll send it back to you! So glad that things are now fixed and I hope they stay that way for at least a year of Sundays! Hugs, Darnell xxoo

What a cute and adorable card with that fantastic frog image. I love your design. And, so glad they got it fixed at their end. I know sometimes my computer woes were fixed at their end too in times past. And, I don't mind when you explain the little upsets you have in life...I think we all do that. I know I do.

They call the number they're supposed to come fix?!--ya gotta laugh...or scream! I just don't understand how they can keep raising prices--haha! Your card is cute!

Love this frog and the sentiment, Brenda! Maybe you should send it to Comcast and on the inside put "if you just tried!" I'm glad they fixed the problem. It's a shame they didn't check on their end sooner!

Huh, I never thought of you being pathetic, only very relate-able. Glad things are back in order. I had to laugh at what Bonnie thought you should do with that card, but don't waste the stamp on them, it's too cute!

Life is very challenging Brenda and we sometimes need to vent to our friends, whether that be in person friends or on line friends. Girls need their friends and we need to complain especially when we are on our own. So complain away as we are your girlfriends!!!! Glad that Comcast finally realized what the error was and fixed it. These companies are dense sometimes to say the least! Love the card, frogs are one of my favorite critters and this one is a cutie! I think I might have one frog stamp and it is a NBUS. I really need to get it out and make a card with it. lol Big hugs, Brenda

Wonderful idea to send such a cute and encouraging card to yourself. :-) But after fixing the problems with the phone it will not be necessary. Till next programing error... :-)))
Hugs, Sonja
