Getting in under the wire

I have been working on my Twofer for several days and for once, had the idea but not the time. Got my hair cut and I feel like a new person.

My first card is a tree die cut over a Distress Inked background. I stamped the moon from Altenew and masked it to do the sponging. Then glued the tree down and added a puffy cat sticker and a sentiment.

My second card is Lawn Fawn stamp fussy cut and colored with Copics and popped up on a Distress Inked background. I stamped the same moon on acetate and cut it down to make the crystal ball. I don't know how she looked through that cloudy crystal ball to read it but the outcome was good! I mounted both card panels on SU card stock. I'm happy to have a Halloween card made this early.

My prayers are with those in California and also in the gulf where two storms are converging. I hope everyone stays safe.

Be kind to one another.

Glad you were able to get a hair cut Brenda! I so need one and need to call to get on the list to get mine cut too. It does make you feel like a new person doesn't it?! I am in love with both of your twofers! I'm sorry to say I didn't get anything made, have the cards designed but never got around to making them. :-( I love the inking background on your tree card, it looks amazing and such a great fall sky evening sky! The moon is amazing looking too. I love this whole scene. You are so great with thinking out of the box Brenda, I love that you took the same moon and made it into a crystal ball!!! Genius! And so cute! Again, your background is amazing looking. Love the mystery it gives and the cat reading the crystal ball is too cute. Let's hope 2021 is a much better year! I'm sending prayers out to those in CA too as well as those in the Gulf Coast where these two storms are converging. My heart is so heavy with all this stuff going on. Hugs, Brenda

Such cute Twofer designs, Brenda! I love your scary Halloween card with its perfect full moon and ghoulishly grinning black cat! That tree is spookilicious! And that fortune-telling cat is so fun with his fortune-telling table cloth! I am glad he saw only good things, but you're right, he might do better business after a good Windex scrub!! Thank you for your prayers and for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #30! Keep well! Hugs, Darnell xxoo

First, I must say, that cat just cracks me up! He really is a ham! I love that beautiful moon and the dark night scene you created! Such a clever way to make that crystal ball, and it's perfect because the future should always be a bit cloudy, or we'd never step forward into it! Certainly, I would predict a very happy day too, for whoever receives your card! Thanks for joining in the fun with us at the Twofer Card Challenge!

Brilliant, Brenda! The moon on your halloween card really looks as though it's glowing and lighting up your beautifully blended sky and spooky scene! Love the cat ... puts me in mind of Felix The Cat (we saw re-runs when we were little)! Such fun use of the moon for the little critter's crystal ball ... so cute ... the circular sentiment mimics the ball beautifully! Happy Haircut Day ... what a lovely feeling getting that done! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Twofer! Hugs, Anita :)

Nothing like a haircut to make us feel so much better! Looking forward to my next one...it's been a while for me, and well past time, lol!! These are fabulous cards, Brenda. LOVE that Halloween moonlit sky you've created and the tree looks amazing against it. So glad your kitty is cute and not scary, too! But you blew me away with your use of the moon as a crystal ball! Never in a million years would I have ever thought of that! So very clever!! The kitty fortune teller is darling, too. What a fun card!! Hope all is well with you. Thank you so much for joining us at The Twofer Challenge. Stay safe and sending hugs. Bev
