I saw people

I got to see my granddaughter over the weekend and my friend, Marilyn. It was wonderful and I was so glad to see them. I'm still not ready to go anywhere else but seeing them was a big boost.

This is a birthday card I made last week. Lawn Fawn pattern paper, the cat is Katzelkraft and the happy was cut with tonic dies in different colored cardstock. That expression on the cat's face is just priceless. The inside says Birthday to a cool cat.

Be kind to one another.

So glad you got that boost of seeing your granddaughter and your friend Brenda! It is quite the boost isn't it?! I love this card, the cat's expression is priceless! I also love that plaid paper, so summery and pretty as is the colorful "happy". Hugs, Brenda

I agree. The expression on that cat is so fun! I love your card you made with him. And I know the feeling of seeing someone besides just yourself in the mirror. Glad you got a visit in.

This grumpy looking cat makes me smile, Brenda! I love how you've left him with just a bit of coloring and the bright pastel colors around him! I'm glad you got to see your friend and your granddaughter. Thanks for the smiles, my friend!

You've done a good job making this rather more-mean-tempered-than-cool cat look handsome, Brenda! I love the plaid panel and the rainbow of happy happy!! I'm so glad you've ventured out and are able to see your grands and your dear friend, Marilyn. And I hope you have some lovely weather ahead so you can do more Walking Miss Daisy. Miss you! Hugs, Darnell

Hi Brenda,
such a lovely card and that stamped cat definitely has attitude.
Love your wonderful design and what a great idea the Happy is in different colour card for each letter.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

That cat is a hoot! Such a great card, Brenda! Glad you enjoyed seeing people. It does help the mood, for sure. We finally met at a big rest stop to see hubby's daughter & SIL. He hadn't seen them for 8 months & it had been 10 months for me. The weather was perfect & it worked out great! We took chairs & they used the table & no one was near us. Fritz was so good--never made a sound. Guess he enjoyed the change of scenery! None of us had any idea we'd been there 5 hours! Now to do it again before the bad weather comes.
