Nothing sweeter than butterflies

These are my Twofer cards for the prompt of butterflies. You can't go wrong when you add a butterfly to a card. My first card uses a new Simon Says Stamp stencil sponged with Distress Oxide Ink. The sentiment is Penny Black and the blue sparkle is from my stash that's the first layer of the butterfly. die from Memory Box. The top layer is black card stock.and is cut with a different Memory Box die. The second card uses a Hero Arts stencil with sponged Catherine Pooler inks. I sponged the same color for the first layer of the butterfly and used black card stock again for the top layer. The hello is a Reverse Confetti die in black and covered in Glossy Accents.

Be kind to one another.

Wonderful twofers with the soft stencilling. The black/dark butterflies are beautiful and a great contrast. Fun sentiment on the first and so true. Enjoy your weekend.

Great stencils and wonderful blending, Brenda! Your two different designs show exactly how much interest is generated when a butterfly is added to a card! MB makes some of my favorite butterfly dies and I love how you did the overlays on these in black to give the them lots of definition! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #29! Keep safe and well, my friend. Miss you! Hugs, Darnell

I love that leaf and it looks like the butterfly loves it too, Brenda! You "made" me have to order that stencil! Love the stenciled flowers too. I have one similar so I didn't have to order that one. LOL! Two fantastic Twofer cards, my friend!

These are beautiful Brenda!!! The leaf stenciling ... was that one done during our Zoom?? It looks so pretty with the soft green and then the deep blue butterfly. Lovely contrast. Your second card is such a gorgeous stencil. Going to add that to my wish list! So perfect with the butterfly being the same colour. Two gorgeous cards, my friend! xx

You are so right, you can never go wrong with a butterfly, and I love both of the beautiful ink blended settings you gave them! The blue sparkle paper is fun and whimsical, and I really love that sentiment! So clever to color match your second butterfly with the ink from the background, and great idea to add gloss to the word die cut. Thanks for joining in the fun with us, Brenda, at the Twofer Card Challenge!

Hi Brenda,
2 very beautiful Twofer designs.
Love the colour inks used to create these gorgeous cards.
The butterflies are so fab also and your sentiments are perfect too.
Since my creaft room renovation I can't remember where I put my stencils I must make a big effort to find them after seeing your lovely creations.

A silly little joke for you again.

Butterfly perfection, Brenda. I adore the birthday sentiment on your card, and that summery leaf makes the perfect resting stop for your pretty butterfly. Wonderfully CAS! Your 'hello' card looks like you've planted a butterfly garden on your card base! Such a sweet flutterby nested among the flowers. Fabulous cards, my friend. Thanks so much for joining us at The Twofer Challenge! Stay safe. Bev
