A Penny Black card

I am sharing this card in CAS Mix Up this month. The challenge this month is stencil  tracing and I did start out that way. It wasn't going well so I only did the stems and leaves. If it's not okay, just delete it. I do like how it came out though. It is a Penny Black stencil and sentiment and I used Distress Oxide ink to sponge .

Be safe, my friends.

Be kind to one another.

It's a beautiful stencil & so is your card, Brenda! I can't tell you were having problems, but I do think certain pens are easier to use than others. Hope you're well. I often think of you during this difficult time.

I think it is very pretty. Just something serene about a single stem and simple sentiment.

I love it Brenda! I think you did a great job with your stencil and the outlining. The stems/leaves look great outlined, I love the beautiful flowers too, they are so soft looking. I am really loving only the leaves/stems outlined, it give a different look, I think the whole thing outlined would have been too much. I hope you are staying well Brenda and are hanging in there. It is a crazy world right now here in the US. Just stay safe my friend. Hugs, Brenda

I really like how it came out, too, Brenda! I saw some of the cards where the artists just blended the image through the stencil and then separately traced around the image. Either way, it does perk up the design, doesn't it? Now to remember the trick, lol! So glad to see you creating! I hope your heat and humidity have lessened. Hugs, Darnell

I was about to say about the same thing that Darnell said, so I'll just say "ditto", or as the cool kids say, "true dat!", though I'm not so cool and would really say, "that is so true!" Anyway, it turned out to be one beautiful card!
