Maple leaves

I'm not sure this is clean enough for the the https://caswatercolour.blogspot.com/ challenge so if it's not, please delete it. I used photo paper and re-inkers with water to color the leaves then spritzed with alcohol to spread the color. I used black ink on the leaf stamp and stamped over the leaf to get the veins but it worked as lift ink and no black ink remained. A new Technique? The stamp and die is Gina K. and the sentiment is Penny Black.

Be kind to one another.

Beautiful CAS card Brenda! LOVE the gorgeous colours of your maples leaves. And who knew the black would resist and lift colour! The veins stand out and look fabulous. Love the soft blue background as a contrsat to the vibrant leaves. Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Watercolour! xx

You may have invented a new technique, Brenda! It certainly is a fantastic one! The first think I noticed with the veins on the bright leaves and wondered how you did that! Gorgeous, my friend! Thanks for sharing it with us at CAS Watercolour!

this is an awesome card...too bad you didn't share this technique with us at the retreat, now I will have to try it myself! Beautiful card, glad you are still stamping and taking time out for lunch too!! After all, we do need to eat to keep up our stamina for more stamping! Thank you again for making the retreat happen, I had such a wonderful time with you and the others. You warm my heart as does your sweet SIL, will you tell her I said so? Heart Hugs, Col
