I did get a card made with my encrusted leaves. That is a technique where you use Stampendous kits with embossing powder and little bits of mica in different colors. You use Versa Mark on your die cut, then add mica first because it doesn't melt, then add encrusted e/p or regular e/p and melt from underneath so the stuff doesn't blow off. You can add shaved ice or gilding flakes too. I used my craft mat and put it on the griddle, then added the die cut. It melts from underneath and it all melts together. I didn't put the mica on the other leaves first and it fell off. The dark spots on the leaf are the mica flakes. I got my kits at JoAnn's.

I had to take the time to peruse your fabulous cards that I have been missing since forever...I can't seem to catch up to all that I have missed, but I made a dent with some of your most recent cards. I love that you purchased a griddle and used the encrusted flakes, I bought some of that but not the griddle, I suppose that will have to be the next on my list, just to keep up with everyone! I loved your other leaf cards too and sadly the sympathy card, which was really quite striking! I am spending a lot of time trying to keep this knee bending since I went to the bother of another manipulation and arthroscopic surgery...I think this might just work for me this time!
