Thanks for all the nice comments about the ribbon weaving. I learned from En-May on youtube. If you would like to see it done just search on youtube for ribbon weaving. It really is easy.

Yesterday I got busy with my Christmas cards. When I saw the paper with notes on it I immediately thought of the ornament punch by Stampin up. The paper color determined the color of cardstock I would need to use so it was not a hard decision for me. After I cut all the layers I white embossed the Noel  on the black cardstock. Only messed up one so I was pleased. Then I stamped the verse I wanted to use on the inside. After I finished that I was ready to assemble. ACK - I stamped the verse with the fold of the card on the left. I embossed the Noel to have the fold at the top of the card!! You, as a stamper would have been proud. I did not panic. I turned the card inside out knowing I would be layering over the top of that stamped verse and restamped all over again.

Tip - Think twice, stamp once!

Anywho, they are finished and ready to go. For some reason the USPS wouldn't take my credit card number so I could order stamps online so I will be visiting the post office tomorrow. It is really cold here but we did not get ice like some places did and only an inch or two of snow. Hope you all have power and are keeping warm. Be kind to one another.

That's a sweet card Brenda...nice and simple. I saw a neat idea at Archivers the other day...so I am playing with those right now that I have all my cards ready. Maybe these new ones will be my cards for next year.

Good luck with the post office, I have the same errand on top of my list and I am not looking forward to that at all!
Quite, the ice storm indeed, hubby had to drive through it last Thursday/Friday!

So beautiful and elegantly simple! I love how you punched your ornament from music paper!

What a good idea to use the musical paper for your ornament Brenda! If I had a hot dinner for every time I'd stamped without thinking it through first, I'd definitely be full up!
