I've got blog!
Here we go. I don't know if I can keep up with this but I will try. I don't have too much imagination so I case a lot. There are so many great ideas out there. The blogs inspire me to try. Thanks to all of you great stampers that share your work and make tutorials. You can learn anything on the blogs, splitcoast and utube. Wow, all that information is going around in my head. I love to buy supplies and have a room dedicated to stamping but don't actually stamp that much. I love to make birthday, Easter, Halloween, Fall and Christmas cards for our family. Now that I have a grandson in college I will be sending him cards as well. I do have a Stampin Up gal and go to her classes. That's where I get my stash of cards! I am very close to an Archiver's. They have great samples too and I have taken some of their classes. Also have a Michael's, JoAnn's and a Hobby Lobby. There are no great stamp stores anymore. We had so many but they have all closed. I tried my best to keep them is business but I guess it wasn't enough!
It's that time of year to really make cards. Our birthdays start on Sept. 1st and we have 7 between now and the end of the year. So I should be able to post some. This is a card from last year. I haven't made Halloween cards yet for this year. Stop by and say hello. I would love to hear from you.

Love that pumpkin edge on top!
Thanks Deb. It is a Martha Stewart punch from last year.
Welcome to Blogland, Brenda! It is a wonderful community where you will not only find inspiration and videos, you will make real friendships with fellow crafters from all over the world. It's the coolest!
Thank you so much for coming by to visit me and leave a comment. That's really great because most folks will come and see you in return and that's how the whole thing starts.
If you following blogs, too, most people will follow in return and if they follow you, you might want to follow them back. I love that give-and-take. Oh, wait, I see that you don't have a follow button, so maybe you aren't interested in that, that's fine.
Your Halloween card is great!! It sounds like you did your best to help the local stores stay afloat! Ours have closed, too, and it was so sad. I'm currently having to reorganize the entire Playhouse because I've been a bit bad, ahem, this summer "helping the economy" via online shopping and I've run out of room! (That's okay, I sometimes think I like organizing more than I like making cards!)
Okay, enough waffling from me! Enjoy the journey!! Darnell
Brenda, I'm going to follow in the Great Darnell's footsteps and echo all that she already said..better'n me. (She also has the gift of words, along with her artistic talent! :-) ) I hope you will add a follower's spot to your blog, as I will join, but I'm not seeing any place to do it. If you want to learn how to do that, leave me a comment (or Darnell..she could explain too). Loved your punkin card, and I'm with you on doing my bit to help the economy. Doesn't seem to be working, though, does it? I'm in the Upstate SC area, transplanted from 42 yrs in So. Fla. We like it here. Hugs & congrats on starting a blog. You'll enjoy it.
