Here's the thing. I'm not getting anything done in the house. After breakfast I bring my coffee into my craft room and log on. From then on I am mesmerized by all the blogs. There are thousands of card blogs out there. One blog leads you to 20 other links and I want to visit them all!  So, from now on I will have to put in laundry, clean and pick up the house and do any other chores before I can log on. That will be my treat for doing the housework! What I thought was fog out the back window turns out to actually be on the window so I guess I need to wash windows before cold weather. Bummer, it's always something before card making. Now that I have a blog I want to make cards every day. I am posting a birthday card that I sent to a friend several months ago. I did go to the library and grocery store today so I have done something. Hubby requires and insists on food so that is a priority. Be kind to one another.

Brenda, welcome to the world of blogging. It seems to just take over, and there's so many lovely blogs to enjoy. Time just gets away. You're trying to build your following, so of course you feel you must post frequent cards (and this last one is just lovely too. That embossed gold butterfly is certainly striking against the lovely bkgrnd dp.) I had to laugh about your foggy windows. We just went through the same thing, cleaned windows. I did find out that what I thought was dirt film from 2 yrs of no cleaning, was actually the window fogging where seals were not functioning properly. So we are replacing windows. Would that we had discovered this before the labor of cleaning. One gets to where one begins to resent doing the necessary housework...as blogging is so much more fun. Then one gets behind on reciprocal visits! But it is SUCH fun! You will meet such lovely people. And I'm looking forward to getting to 'know you too'. Happy weekend. TFS

Oh yes, when you get your 'following' section up & running, you will be getting a lot of followers I am sure. Of whom I shall be one!

Hi Brenda,
Oh yes, I know how that goes....I go to bed at 2.30am. My husband gets home from work at 1am, so he usually needs to eat a regular meal then. I don't get up till about 10am, do my blood sugars, make coffee then breakfast, and sit at the computer for a couple of hours. Gosh, there is email, facebook, blogs and visiting, leaving comments. The last couple of days and last week I have been doing a garage sale......trying to make a little bit of $$$$ need to gather some money for a new computer. Lets just say...not too successful right now. So yeah...it's been busy here. Next weekend the husband's family is visiting for the weekend. House cleaning is a must and a few windows too!!!

You just figured out the world-wide-web hypnotism!! Here I sit, still in my pjs (didn't have to go in today) and it is now a little after noon. You are so right that we have to do the "real" world stuff first before we are sucked into the vortex all day and well into the night! And, yes, BTW, what is it with husbands who feel the need for meals??
