I got a bee in my bonnet
to make my granddaughter's birthday card! I bought the Simon Says Stamp kit of the month for the first time and I love it. This card was inspired by several cards that were shown in the introduction of the kit. Cathy Z. and Susan Opel. I stamped the bee and sentiment on a yellow circle die cut and added it to a black panel cut with a Mama Elephant scalloped die and added to a card base. I added two dots for eyes. I added Nuvo silver glitter to the wings and gold Nuvo glitter to the crown. Very simple, but what girl doesn't like sparkle.

So cute - and pretty too - and I DO love all that sparkle!! FUN card and I know she's going to love it. I used to get the SSS kits and quit - need to check them out again because they're always so good! Love your card Brenda.

Brenda I think your grand will bee-lighted (doesn't that sound like a word Darnell would use??) with this card and she should be the queen for the day! I love this card Brenda! The black and yellow color combo is always striking to me. Love the scallop mat but it is the bee and the sentiment that I really love.
