We are the recipient of the heat moving across the country this week with 90's and a heat index of over 100. It is wonderful crafting weather inside in A/C. While looking through my Alexandra Renke papers I remember loving this bird paper and had to have it. It pains me to cut it up but I did. I realized no one can enjoy it in my closet! I used my NBUS Gina Marie frame for it and added a simple greeting.
My friend has always been afraid of German sausage. He always expected the wurst.
I will share this on the
NBUS site.

Aaaaaaaah, that is so pretty, Brenda! I love her art and understand how much you hate to part with it, but someone will treasure this! I love the border you chose and the hello ...perfick! Hugs, Darnell

I used to cringe at having to cut up Basic Grey papers too, why is that? This paper made a beautiful card for someone else to enjoy, so congrats for taking the scissors plunge! LOL Happy cool crafting!
Nice, I keep forgetting to pull out my patterned paper for projects, guess that should be on my list for today. You always make such nice cards and your one-liner jokes always make me smile.
Oh that paper is beautiful resulting in a beautiful card! Thanks for bringing it out of your closet and sharing it with us. 😉
It is so easy to hoard beautiful papers, you are not alone in that Brenda! But good for you for getting it out, cutting it up and letting other's enjoy it too! You got to love when the paper does all the work for you. I love this bird and branch image, it is just gorgeous and makes a gorgeous card! You picked a nice frame and I love your simple sentiment. Just gorgeous!!! Yeap, been hot here too. Had a couple of nice days, but then the heat comes back. I don't mine as much, but (dare I say it) I think I'm finally ready for nice weather were the doors and windows can be thrown open. Hugs, Brenda
What a sweet bird, Brenda, and great framing! I'm glad you released him from the closet!
