Old with the new

This card uses flowers from a Martha Stewart punch I've had forever along with a new Spellbinders die  called Punch and Pierce Borders. A bit of greenery and a pearl for the centers and here it is. I am not using sentiments on my cards until I know who the card will go to because I have cards in my stash with sentiments that I would rather they say something else.

I will send this card to

They say it takes a village. I believe it takes a vineyard.

Be kind to one another.

This is beautiful, Brenda! I love the colors and how elegant it is! Good idea to leave a space for a sediment banner and to wait until you find just the right occasion for it. Thank you for inspiring everyone at NBUS! Hugs, Darnell (Yes, lol, it does take a vineyard and, for some, potato fields for wodka!)

How beautiful! Always great to use old goodies & what a neat new die! Time is crawling, for a change, but I know this just takes time.

Gorgeous background to show off your pretty flowers, Brenda. I agree with you, I have a few of those cards with specific sentiments that I wish were more versatile. xx

Yay, you got the Spellbinders punched and pierce borders! Don't you just love the lovely piercings? I love your card, the flowers on top of this beautiful pattern looks so lovely. Would make a great Christmas card as well with poinsettias. Hummm, I think that might have to be my next Christmas card make. LOL Good idea for not putting sentiments on your cards until you are ready to send them. Hugs, Brenda

Love the combination of the background die and the flower punch! I know what you mean about leaving the sentiment off till you know you're sending the card to - many a time I've wished a card had a different sentiment!

What a pretty background for your bright flowers, Brenda! I'm with you about waiting to add the sentiment! This could even work for a Christmas card.

Truly a lovely card with fab background, Brenda! And, beautiful flowers, too! It's great to have cards ready without sentiments to add later!

So feminine and pretty, Brenda! Great idea to leave out sentiments. I’ve been adding sentiments with temporary adhesive to play along with challenges… and change them out if / when needed.
