It's hard

It's extremely hard to believe spring pops in tomorrow since we've had snow, cold and such brutal wind all weekend. I will be pleasantly surprised if that happens. I am posting a flower card today in anticipation. I stenciled soft pink and yellow ink through a Lavania stencil, then added an Alexandra Renke die cut in black. I think stenciling adds such a soft touch to a background and also grounds the dies.

I've been hiding from exercise. I'm in the fitness protection program.

Be kind to one another.

This is so lovely with that soft stenciled background and I really like the shadow on the sentiment too. Very pretty card and I hope your identity isn't exposed! *wink* - I'm hiding right along with you :)

Very pretty card. The black looks so good against the pastel stencil background.

Oh, my, Brenda, this is so lovely! I agree about the stenciling and appreciate the inspiration to use mine! The whole design is gorgeous. And the joke had me spit my mid-morning coffee! I am definitely going to be using that line!🙏 for spring to arrive soon. Hugs, Darnell

The weather sure has been weird this season that is for sure. We were super cold and very windy last Tuesday and then Thursday (I think), the wind was low and the temp got to a since 60+, then we went right back to cold and windy. This morning very cold, 17 with the wind chill. This coming Thursday we are supposed to be 71. I hope it sticks around. LOL Your card is beautiful Brenda! I do love the stenciling and agree with you in that it adds a nice soft touch to a background. Your bold die looks amazing and makes those soft colors even prettier. I'm one who is definitely in the fitness protection program. LOL Hugs, Brenda

Hi Brenda, a beautiful card with a lovely, stencilled background. Yesterday we had 43C (109F) here in Aus and Autumn started at the beginning of the month, today it is 16C (60F), the mountain mist has descended and is causing rescue groups trouble finding a missing canyoner.... Have a wonderful week... Megan

The stenciling does add a wonderful background for these pretty dies, Brenda! Great job! There were snow flurries in Eastern NC today to welcome spring. Not here though. It's just kind of cool. It's going to be warming up though.

Hi Brenda,
such a very beautiful card and the stencilling looks so pretty.
That flower is also very pretty too.
Yes nice to see all the spring flowers sprouting up at this time of year.
Lots of crafty love and hugs from my house to yours.
