Two years, nine months

I mostly stayed in, wore a mask and avoided crowded places. Last Tuesday I went to my regular pulmonologist appointment. The waiting room was standing room only and I picked up Covid. What a bummer. I lost this last week completely and I hate that because I am so far behind.

I purchased quite a few of Penny Black Masterpieces to fill in some Christmas cards and turns out they might be all my cards. Yesterday I felt well enough to make a card and used one of them. Not fancy but it's done and I like it.

I just realized the paper towels by the gas pumps are for wiping away the tears after filling up the tank.

Be kind to one another.

Very pretty card. So sorry you have been sick. A doctor's office is the worst as far as catching something. I am still avoiding crowded places and wear a mask.

So sorry you've been sick, Brenda. People think Covid is over, it's not. If everyone in the waiting room was wearing masks, then you would probably have been safe. I blame government for caving on common sense. Any public place should require masks. Anyways, enough of me on my soap box. :) I'm so happy to hear you felt well enough to make a card. I love the framing of this beautiful image and the perfect sentiment to go with it.

Take care, sweet friend. Love, Loll

I'm so sorry you've been feeling unwell with Covid. I do hope you'll be back on your feet in a short time again. Your card is very pretty, and I'm glad I'd been making Christmas cards all year so I had just enough to send this year! Take good care of yourself and rest whenever you need to! Hugs!

I love your masterpiece card, Brenda. I haven't seen the latest ones and this one is gorgeous! I hate that you caught Covid, especially at the doctor's office, but I'm glad to see you have a bit of energy. I hope your recovery is complete and all uphill from now on!❤ Hugs, Darnell

Hi Brenda, a common tale even here in Australia, we are being encouraged to wear masks in indoor environments and we still are, the hospitals and doctors surgeries require everyone to wear masks and the hospital system no longer requires staff to isolate if they have an active infection. I live in a tourist region and we can usually pick locals from no locals based on who is wearing a mask.... I hope you are on the mend and feeling better. I love the card with the pretty border on the white layer. Have a wonderful week... Megan

Oh, no. I'm so sad that you got Covid and you've been so careful! I hope you're feeling much better! This card is beautiful! I think I may need to get some of these masterpieces. I love the jingle bell card you sent me! No half assed jingling going on here! Jingle loud for all to hear!

So sorry to hear you've been unwell Brenda. It's more than annoying (note no rude words used) when you become almost a recluse and manage to avoid horrible Covid then you get it when you have to go to see a Doctor. (At least mine was caught in a Garden Centre buying plants - which is deffo more fun than a doctors!) I hope you're feeling much better.
Love these PB masterpieces and this is a lovely card.
Laughed out loud when I read about filling up the car. Petrol here at the cheapest stations is currently the equivalent of $1.95 USD a litre!

Oh uck on getting Covid! The doctors offices are probably the unhealthiest places a person can be these days. I do hope you're feeling better now and didn't have it too bad.
Love your pretty. It's beautiful!
