February Twofer

I'm sharing my twofer cards today. The prompt is Balloons and my friend, Greta is guest designing this month. I used a Memory Box hot air balloon die for these cards. I paper pieced the red, blue and yellow balloon and added a Lawn Fawn sentiment. The clouds were made by sponging with a LDRS stencil. My unconventional card is made by cutting two hot air balloons and turning them on their sides. I glued them together at their bottoms. I added lace and a flower to make a bra. The sentiment was computer generated and I used gingham pattern paper for the background.

Be kind to one another.

LOVE them both Brenda! Your hot air balloon card is a fun and happy way to say "hi" and will surely bring a smile to the recipients face! Your unconventional card awesome and I love that your mind put the two sideways hot air balloons together to make a bra...cute, cute, CUTE and most definitely will bring a smile to someone's face! Thanks for sharing and always playing along with us at The Twofer Challenge...we love seeing you in the gallery each month! :0)

Two super balloon cards, Brenda. I love the subtle stencilling of the sky on your first card and your lovely second card made me smile. What a clever way to use the balloon. xx

What a hoot you are, Brenda! Your clever bra design has me laughing out loud! And I also want one like it to wear! It's so frilly and feminine with the lace and flower and I love the gingham background and flag sediment! Your traditional hot air balloon is perfect for a Covid hello ~ it is socially distant, your cloudy sky is perfectly stenciled, and it's sure to bring a smile! Thank you very much for playing in TCC #35! Take care and keep safe in that weather. Hugs, Darnell

What a clever use of the hot air balloons Brenda! I like stenciled background you've created for the balloon flying by to say hi. Bra made out of two balloons is fantastic idea and fantastic done. You've made me laugh. Thank you for joining us at TCC gallery.

Aren't you the clever one Brenda! I adore your balloon cards, your traditional one is so pretty. I love seeing hot air balloons when they come close to my house, used to see them often, but not so much anymore. Your non traditional card is very clever and I love the bra you made from the balloons! Such a fab idea!!! Hugs, Brenda

Oh Brenda! I know you'll laugh when I tell you I first saw your pretty bra card when I got home from having my mammiogrammio! (just routine) Pretty darn good timing, I'd say! It's a great way to use that hot air ballon die! Awesome background, too, on your conventional use of the hot air balloon! Love the primary colors, and it looks like something you'd see in New Mexico. Fabulous cards, my friend. Thanks for joining us at The Twofer Challenge. Stay safe, stay warm, and sending hugs. xo Bev

Hahahahaha ... so much fun, Brenda! What a brilliant idea for an unconventional use of the balloon ... your lacy bra with the extra floral touch is just genius ... and beautifully executed! The hot air balloon pops wonderfully against the soft fluffy clouds ... seems it's drifting on a gentle breeze! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Twofer ... and for your lovely visit and comment! Hugs, Anita :)
