Merry, Merry Christmas
I hope everyone has a wonderful, safe day whether in person or zooming with family and friends. You all mean so much to me and I want to start the new year with everyone being healthy and ready to stamp.

Baby, It's Cold Outside
We went from 53 yesterday to 23 this morning! Brrr. Daisy had to wear her coat this morning when she went out. It took longer to put it on and take it off than she was out. Not a fan of the cold, just like me.
I used this 3-D texture fade e/f from Sizzix to make several Christmas cards. I just love the look it gives and you can use it several ways. I rubbed a Delicata gold ink pad over the flat side on the first card, used my finger to rub the same ink over the petals on the second card and added red sequins to the centers of the flowers on the third card. I made another card that I forgot to take a picture of. It was also a white panel and I colored tiny pearls dark red for the centers and used the same red as a card base.
Please be safe and enjoy the holidays.

CASE'D it
My friend, Bonnie, of https://bon2stamp.blogspot.com/2020/12/santa-owl.html posted a card that I just loved and I knew right away I wanted to copy it for my granddaughter. I added a few things to it but Bonnie really inspired me. The owl is Impression Obsession and I added a Santa hat, google eyes and a sentiment. Thank you, Bonnie.

Jingle Bells
It's the season to hear bells. Church bells, sleigh bells and Salvation Army bells. Here is my version of bells. I used an Impression Obsession bell die to cut the bells in silver mirror c/s. I added a bow of white and silver and mounted them on white c/s. The background is Stampin' Up paper and the sentiment is snarky and from Impression Obsession also. I added pattern paper.

Wishing you Joy
I did purchase a new die set this season by Honey Bee. It comes with the O or wreath for the middle letter of joy. I chose to use the wreath and embossed it with fired brick embossing glaze. The J and Y was clear embossed so they would shine too. The snowflake embossing folder is Cuttlebug.

Elf Wishes
A fun, whimsical little guy today from My Favorite Things colored with Copics and a sentiment from Penny Black. Got to clean house today and tomorrow. It now takes me two days!

Ten Days
It's only ten more days till Christmas. My gosh this year has gone by so fast. You would think just staying home for the whole year that the year would just drag by but it hasn't. I just talked to my son and we are not going to get together for Christmas. After being so good all year, we decided a few more months wouldn't hurt to stay apart. But, I sure do miss everyone, especially my new great granddaughter. She is growing in leaps and bounds.
This card is made with a Spellbinders poinsettia die and embossed with TH embossing glaze. I kept seeing such gorgeous cards that had been embossed with it on Christine's blog https://itsacarddaysnight.blogspot.com/. I ordered several colors and I am thrilled with how it makes the die cuts look. It gives a different look than clear embossing powder.

The end
This is the end of the pattern paper cards. I may have a strip or snippet on other cards but this is the last one that features a background of pp. It is suppose to be snow so act like that is what you see! I die cut a border with a Lawn Fawn die and added Stickles for snow along the edge. Added a die cut tree and added a bit of Stickles to it and that was it. The Stickles are there but don't show up in the picture for some reason. Might be the photographer.

Die cut Christmas card
I used pattern paper as a background to showcase this Penny Black die. It is colored with Copic markers and I added a simple sentiment. Glossy accents were added to the red berries for shine. I only have a few more cards to make for Christmas. Nothing like waiting till the last minute. The pattern paper saved me this year. I am thinking it will be a good idea to play along with the Christmas challenges throughout next year!.

Oh my deer
You have seen me use this deer before but something about it draws it to me every year. Here are two cards using the deer head from Poppy Stamps and using, surprise, pattern paper as background. The first one is die cut with gold mirror paper and the second deer is die cut with gray paper to go along with the pattern paper.

Not quite done
The title says it all, I'm not quite done with pattern paper. This card is done with Alexandra Renke paper. She has the most beautiful papers and it is hard to cut them up. All you need is a greeting and it's done. My local stamp store carries her papers and I'm in love every time I go in the store. I'm so glad I went before Christmas and they had her paper in already.
Keep wearing your masks and be safe.

Trees
I am so pleased to be using pattern paper for my cards. Since I waited so long to get started it has been such a help but beyond that I'm using up my stash. This beautiful paper is Kaisercraft and I just die cut trees from gold mirror paper. I added some gold twine also from my stash. When you have gorgeous paper you have to give it the love it deserves.

Candy cane for you
I haven't gotten any candy canes this year since I don't go to the grocery store in person. (Both are good things). I thought this would be a good way to share some candy instead. The candy cane is a Poppy Stamps die cut in white card stock and layered over red card stock. I mounted that panel on plaid paper from a LDRS 6x6 paper pack called Christmas Cottage. The dies I used to cut the panels are from Gina Marie.

Time for Christmas cards
I'm so late this year starting my Christmas cards so there is a chance they will be late. I'm working really hard to make them but still have to rest my hands. The pain has gone into my wrists now but not like carpal tunnel. If I rest it goes away.
In keeping with using my pattern paper (which I'm happy to say I have been doing) this is a paper with the trees and teeny birds. I added the die cut trees in silver glitter paper and little die cut red birds. The sentiment is SU embossed in Wow black twinkle glitter.
