CAS Mix Up card challenge is celebrating their fourth birthday. I wish you the happiest of birthdays and I was intrigued by the challenge this month. It is using acrylic paints on your card. My acrylic paints were kind of dried up from Deco Art and then I realized I had Tim Holtz Distress Paint. I only have five colors so my choice was limited. I used green, yellow and a teeny bit of blue. This was supposed to be a dirty pour but since I didn't use enough paint it ended up being a dirty smeared around with a paintbrush technique. After it dried I used a Memory Box die called Bursting Berry Vine Border to cut it out. On a white c/s panel I used a LDRS stencil for clouds and die cut two gray bunnies and one tan bunny from Impression Obession dies. I tucked one into the vines and two resting on the grassy part. The sentiment is Verses. You can now hardly see the paint! I used acrylic paints, stamping, die cutting and ink blending.

Be kind to one another.

Great use of the acrylic dirty pour Brenda. I did much the same and salvaged what I could. The vine border looks fabulous. Wonderful scene making and a super cute Easter card.

Cute Spring card Brenda!
Did you try adding warm water to your dried up paints? I got this tip from the internet - paint that has thickened and has become firm but is still somewhat tacky or malleable can often be restored. You can gauge your paint with a poke from your finger or a tap from your brush or palette knife.
For paint that is especially solid, press onto it firmly with your finger, the handle end of your brush, or your palette knife. If you notice an indentation form, this is a good sign that you may be able to revitalize your paint.
Worth a try rather than having to buy!
PS - Like your description of the change of technique from the Dirty Pour!

I agree with Viv, that you can try to revitalise the solid paints. Certainly worth a try. Your card has turned out fab. Love those bunnies. The Doc and I are staying self isolated as much as possible and are both ok at present. These are all such worrying times all around the World. None is exempt from the threat. Stay safe and keep on Crafting. Hugs Mrs A.
