When you get six inches of snow you can craft all day long. How great is that! The Twofer card challenge using the prompt word Birds just started and I needed a birthday card and some Valentines so I got busy and decided to kill two birds with one stone. I used an Art Impressions stamp called Zoocrew for my bird. Due to how big he is I couldn't change the design of the cards but they are for two different occasions, birthday and Valentines Day. I lightly sponged clouds in the background of the birthday card with a Simon Says Stamp stencil and Broken China distress ink. Both birds are colored with Copics. I die cut a red heart from red shiny paper using a Lawn Fawn die and drew a black line so he could hold it in his beak. And what a beak it is! The birthday sentiment is Art Impressions and the other one is from Technique Tuesday.

This is amazing twofer of birds, dear Brenda. You have colored them phantastish. I have to smile about both sentiments. Those cards will make someone happy. :-)
Thank you for reading about my trip to San Francisco. And thank you about lovely words. I appreciate when someone struggles with google translate. :-)
I'm pretty sure your cards will be the only ones featuring a giant vulture, Brenda, so there should be a prize for that, eh? You did a great job making him work for two occasions and I love your coloring! I have a stamp I should stamp off for you to use with him. It says: "Well aren't you just a little ray of black!" Hardy-har! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #12! Don't lose Molly in all that snow!! Hugs, Darnell
great cards, those vultures are so funny :)
Great cards Brenda, he certainly is a super bird and you have coloured him beautifully.

Oh, how fun! Love the birds! The added die cut heart hanging from his beak is very creative, Brenda! Love the sentiment on the birthday card, too! And, awesome coloring...great cards!!
I would think you changed the design just enough with the placement of the bird and sentiments. They're fabulous and funny and I love the CASness! I'm glad you played along with us at Twofer!
I used to have that stamp in wood mounted and a friend wanted to buy it from me so I sold it. Maybe that was not such a great idea after all. LOL but you really used it well for these and I love both of them. Great Twofers.
That image made me chuckle, Brenda and I love the sentiments you chose for them. Great stenciled background, so subtle. Great coloring too.
What a great bird for your Twofer cards, Brenda! We saw rows of these buzzards perched on some roofs over the weekend. Maybe they were delivering birthday or Valentine messages! The birds are great and the sentiments are priceless!
What a fun bird image Brenda! Great colouring and love the sky in the background. Thanks for joining us at Twofer Card Challenge! xx
Fun and fabulous cards and the bird image is wonderful x
Those birds are too much fun and both cards turned out great! I'm glad you did something fun in that snowstorm! Stay warm!
Hahahahaha ... what a fun twofer, Brenda ... and great colouring and detailing! How much more unlike a blue bird of happiness could that vulture be ... what a riot ... he's sure to bring a laugh to the birthday recipient's face! His stern look on your Saint Valentine's days card belies his soft heart ... love how you have him with it hanging in his beak! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Twofer! Hugs, Anita :)
LOve this creepy guy!!!! and your fabulous sentiments, Brenda!!
=]
He's sure to get a laugh on both occasions! I love the sentiments and that heart hanging from his beak! He looks wonderful with your coloring both ways! I hope you're shoveled out by now! Thanks for joining in the fun with us at the Twofer Card Challenge!
More snow to come tonight for us Brenda and then again for the weekend. I guess winter is really back and to stay. I am totally loving your twofer Brenda! The vulture is amazing and he is big but you have worked with him wonderfully. I love the heart dangling from his mouth on your Valentine card. You have also colored up each one wonderfully. The cloud sky line behind the vulture on the birthday card is awesome as well. I think you did a great job with making each card look different for two different occasions! Well done! Hugs, Brenda
Absolutely terrific Twofer, Brenda! Your coloring is fabulous & the sentiments are so much fun! Stay warm & safe! PS--Are you sure no birds were harmed?! You did say you were killing 2 birds with 1 stone--haha!
Haven't seen that image before. You made two great cards using it!
That vulture is just hilarious! Such fun cards!
