I need flowers

Well we got it all, rain, sleet, ice, snow, high winds and freezing cold! However, my side of town only got a little bit of snow. Downtown got 5.5 inches so I was lucky. It is cold though.

I am starting my birthday cards for coming up birthdays. The paper is Stampin' Up for Valentines from last year and by the time I got it it was after Feb. 14th. So it is new to me. I used a Penny Black die and cut in gold c/s and used Ranger's Queen's Gold embossing powder on black c/s for the sentiment. Stay warm everyone that's in this winter storm.

Now that this is posted, the upper right corner looks like a flying horse or dog.  Oh dear, do you think she will notice that?

Be kind to one another.

Cold here too today, in the negative digits, but it is what it is and winter is definitely making herself known! What a beautiful card Brenda! I am loving that color combo, and no I don't think your friend will notice the image shaped dog in the corner as I didn't until I read your post. Love the die you used as well, your friend will sure to be delighted with this beautiful card! Hugs, Brenda

Such a lovely birthday card with the touches of gold! I think the flying horse or dog is an added element for one's interpretation, cute! Love the soft background and pretty flowers! Very cold here...brrr! But, the driveway is clear after about 7 inches of snow. But, can't go anywhere today since my husband's truck wouldn't start due to the cold, so he took my car to work. Anyways, a beautiful card, Brenda! Stay safe and warm!

Your card is so gorgeous and elegant with that pretty gold on it. I am sure your friend will love it. And, glad you missed out of the snow at least. We are getting some more today and lots of wind again. But I guess that is winter for you. It is to be expected.

The gold accents just take this card straight over the top! We dodged the snow and ice but boy do we have the cold bitter winds and temps! BRRRRRRR Stay warm!

Well, yes, Brenda, now that you mention it, there does appear to be a lion leaping on top of the beautiful gold tulips! But I know you're just joshin' with us cuz it doesn't look that way when you hold it straight. It's gorgeous!! So glad to hear you aren't buried in snow, but do be careful in the deep freeze, my little friend! Don't fall! Hugs, Darnell

So very cold here too and a touch of snow. The Mountains in the distance have snow on them and look glorious here in Scotland. What a beautiful card and loving the paper and the gold die cuts look fabulous and Yay to the flying horse x

You've created a very nice card with gold tulips. The gold detail in right corner is cute and I wouldn't notice it as a flying dog if you don't mention. :-)
We also have snow. Not much, but enough. :-)

This is a beautiful background and I love the gold flowers and clouds! It's extra fun to find recognizable shapes in the clouds. I think she'll love it!

I wondered how bad the storm got at your place, Brenda. Glad you didn't get a lot of snow to deal with. Wonderful paper & love the die cut from gold!
