Another gorgeous day here after the tail end of Alberto came through. Just a rain storm that we really needed. When I saw the challenge at http://justusgirlschallenge.blogspot.com/ week #442 using sunflowers I wanted to play but didn't think I would have time. The rain kept me indoors so I was able to make my card. It is a Gina Marie sunflower die and a Stampin Up sentiment. I cut the leaves with a Spellbinder die and added a few sequins. I sponged color on the die and cut a circle of brown card stock under the center. Be kind to one another.

Lovely sunflower, Brenda! Beautiful card x
What a big beautiful sunflower! Love that die you used Brenda!!
Pretty card.
I've started seeing some of the smaller wild sunflowers around here lately but none of the big ones they usually plant. I'm sure it won't be long now though.

This reminds fo the large sunflowers that my neighbor has growing along where fence line that I can enjoy too. Great job Brenda! Thanks for joining the girls and I at JUGS!
Such a happy card, Brenda! I love the blend of colors and that brown backing for your center! Rainy days are great for crafting!
Sunflowers always bring bright smiles and your card does the same Brenda. Great design with the beautiful sunflower die. Good to hear that you weren't hit too bad with Alberto. A rainy day is a good reason to stay indoors and craft! :) xx
Your sunflower is beautiful! That has to be the happiest of flowers....beautifully done!
This is beautiful, Brenda! Using the brown circle behind the center is perfect! So glad you didn't have any problems with Alberto!

Love your sunflower card Brenda! It is so pretty. I think I might have that sunflower or one like it. Rain, rain, rain here. Very little sunshine this spring. We are so water logged it is hard to mow the grass. I think we even broke a record with all the rain we have had since spring. Well rain and snow as April had as much snow as it did rain. lol Hugs, Brenda
Love your sunflower. Reminds me of the sunflowers we would grow when the kids were small and made a game of seeing whose flower reached the highest. Hugs Mrs A.
What a fabulous sunflower die that is!! It's a winner in my book, my friend!! Hugs, Darnell xxoo
