Happy Memorial Day to everyone. It is hot and humid here but I was out and about. THEN, I did my first Brusho card that I liked. It is courtesy of Loll. She posted a video  here by Leonie Schroder that shows an easy technique for using them. I told Loll that all my Brusho cards look like blobs. I really like this card. It uses Brushos sprinkled in an embossing folder. I used sea green and lemon. Thank you Loll and Leonie for sharing this. I used an Anna Griffin embossing folder and the tulips are Penny Black.  The sentiment is from Avery Elle. I think I am too heavy handed when I sprinkle Brushos on and then use too much water. I will keep trying as practice makes perf  better.

My thoughts are with the people in Ellicott, MD and all those in the path of Alberto. I hope he fizzles out before he does any damage. Also for residents of Hawaii in the path of the volcano. So much destruction. Be kind to one another.

I just saw Loll's post with this technique & your comment so of course I had to come admire it. You really did a stunning look with the technique (and love the way you've framed it out, and added the pair of yellow blossoms!) You've come a long way in your card making skills. So very proud of you! TFS & Hugs.

Your card is gorgeous, Brenda! Well done with that embossing folder technique. I saw it over at Loll's too and thought that was sweet that she was thinking of you. This not only controls the coverage, but also produces a great design! I'm sorry I didn't even hear about the school shooting - I haven't been very connected with the news lately. I am praying. I'm off to physical therapy, I can drive myself now and the healing is slow but on track! I hope you have a great day!

Your card is so very pretty! That sounds like a cool way of using Brushos. I have not used my Color Bursts in a long time. So I may have to change that.

Nice job with the brusho's Brenda! This card is stunning and I love how you used an embossing folder with them. I haven't tried that yet. Love the colors you used. Doesn't look like you were heavy handed at all. Brusho's are so fun and I think you can use quite a bit of water with them as they keep their vibrant colors. Yes, I felt for Ellicott City as well. Bret shows me the video when we were in SC. It was heartbreaking as they just had bad flooding in 2016. Hawaii is another one that is heartbreaking, a friend is supposed to go there this month on the big island where the volcano is, I'm hoping the travel people let them go to a different island instead! Makes one think about the Bible and what it says about destruction coming. I think it is here! Hugs, Brenda
