Our first day of spring brought three inches of snow but nothing like the east coast. Mother Nature really has it in for them and I feel bad for all those dealing with the snow and cold. Since it is so snowy here I decided to stay in and make a card. I need to get busy with my Easter cards or they won't be finished in time to mail.  This is a Memory Box Zimmer Oval Background die, Distress Oxide Inks for background, and a Lawn Fawn sentiment embossed with Zing Grapefruit embossing powder. I added some sequins from Scrapping For Less kits. Under the oval die I added Acetate. I am entering this in casmixup challenge for March. I had to post two pictures because the acetate showed in the first one, but not the yellow sponging.

I sponged, stamped, embossed, used a die and acetate. Be kind to one another.

Your Easter card made me smile. The spring colours are so pretty peeking through the die cut. The acetate gives the egg a nice shine.

Your card is so beautiful. What a great lattice die that shows the pretty pastel colors through it. I am sure in person it looks even more lovely with the acetate too.

We had snow here at the weekend as well. Time it started to warm up! I love your card- so pretty. Sorry I haven’t been around much recently but I never thought having an extension on the house would cause so much chaos! We’re nearly sorted now though, still a few boxes of Roy’s stuff to bring down from his flat, and then we’ll be just about there!

Oh my , Brenda , your Easter egg is fabulous. Love the colour shading behind the die cut and the added acetate. Glad to here your feeling better and you did 't fair too baffle with the snow. We had 6" last weekend which cut off the main road into town for a short while. All gone now just need Spring to work its magic.
