I have been mentioning how tired I am all the time with no energy. I recently had two Dr. visits, one with regular MD and one with my pulmonologist. I have been complaining about being tired and not being able to put the weight back on I lost when I was in the hospital. I'm sure most of you know I am on oxygen around the clock. Both doctors told me it takes a lot of energy and calories just for me to be able to breathe. I'm glad there is a reason but can't fix it. I eat well and sleep well and have been taking a nap in the afternoon. That doesn't leave a lot of time to do much else. I use my energy for things I have to do, then rest. I'm trying to pace myself and on days when I don't have to do laundry or other household chores, I try to make a card. I may start one on one day and finish it the next. The simple cards and rub ons have helped me make a card. I appreciate you all staying with me and listening to me keep saying I'm tired. I don't have the breath to do my bike anymore and I miss that. Has anyone used one of those pedal machines that you just sit in a chair and pedal? I wonder if it helps strengthen your legs and is it good exercise? Please let me know because I'm thinking about getting one to get stronger. I'm sorry this is so long but I wanted you to know what's going on here.
I'll never get back to my original weight. I'm okay with that since 6 lbs. 6 oz. is not realistic.

This bunny is the sweetest, Brenda! You find the best rub-ons! I have a desk cycle. When I see the one on tv that does the work for you, I wonder if that isn't a good thing. If PT moves your legs to get strength, why wouldn't that help and it would take less air and energy. Although I don't 'pedal' fast enough to get short of breath. Maybe I'm not doing it right?
Awww ... this bunny is adorable. I love the images you've used from some of your Easter cards. The framing is just perfect, the size and the colour, for your sweet card. :) I have an exercise bike, not just petals ... not sure what that is. But anything that gets your legs moving has to be good. The tough part, for me, is sticking to it. I tend to do a few days here and a few days there. xx
Oh my, that is the sweetest Easter bunny image! Love how it works with the stick frame.
Forgot to say - my Mum used one of those pedal machines where you just sit in a chair and pedal it. She found it really helpful to keep her legs strong during the Ontario winters when she couldn't get out walking and gardening. I'm sorry your energy is so poor but I'm glad you've found easier ways to make cards with the rub ons and simpler designs.
Such a sweet adorable Easter card. I’m glad you at least know why you’re struggling. I wonder if you can find a pedal machine to borrow, so you could try one out. I think you are doing amazing as you are, and worry you might find it too hard. There are lots of chair exercises you could maybe try. There’s probably loads of videos on YouTube. Take care xxx
Your card is just beautiful, Brenda. I love the adorable image.
Sorry to hear you’re still struggling with your health, but it’s good that you’re still able to find time to be creative.
Take care, Liz xx
The rub-ons you've used this year are SO beautifully painted. Anyone would love a handmade card like this, Brenda! I agree with what your other friends have said about the good news of finding out the reason - that's always half the battle - and it's good that you don't have something else happening in your body. Plus, the good news that you can still create when you feel more energetic. If you're still hesitant to get a pedal machine, I like Lesley's suggestion of trying the great chair exercise videos on YouTube. Love you, Darnell
Definitely my favorite Easter card, sweet friend! I'm not on oxygen, but most of my cards aren't finished in one sitting. My sister has one of those pedal while you sit machines. Her doctor or PT recommended it and I think she's been happy using it. Think of you often. Hugs, Greta
Beautiful Easter card! The stick frame is perfect for it.
I am constantly tired, too, and fall asleep throughout the day.all the time, so I can relate to that. 😉 What I can’t relate to is not being able to gain weight… I seem to have the opposite problem. 😂 Hope you find something that will help you soon. Sending you lots of virtual hugs and love. 🫶 Take care 💕
Sorry to hear about how tired you are with no energy. All you can do is to do your best. I'm glad that you are still creating and making beautiful cards when you can. Your sweet Easter bunny card is just darling!! Sending warm hugs your way, take care!!
