Thank you

Thank you all for so many wonderful cards, emails, texts and phone calls for my birthday. You guys make it so special along with my friends and family. I got to spend the day with my sons and it was terrific. I love it when the whole family gets together but it is a treat to spend time with just the guys. We had the best time talking and laughing and eating.

I haven't made many cards lately either. This card was another first for me. I used pattern paper (surprise!) and embossed it. Then lightly went over the raised pattern with white ink and added a bit of rock candy embossing powder. I love how it turned out.

My friend fell into the upholstery machine. It was bad but he is completely recovered.

Be kind to one another.

Brenda, that is beautiful!! The white on the raised areas came out perfectly! And what a great technique to make it more interesting to use patterned paper!

Oh so happy you spent time with your sons for your birthday, Brenda! Hope the pains are better. You have the perfect printed paper to use for that technique--absolutely stunning! I'm going to have to hunt through mine and see if anything would work. Thanks for the inspiration, my dear friend!

Perfect masculine birthday card! You have the best PP collection.
So sorry you were having pain… unfortunately that’s something I know too well. Hope things have improved and you’re feeling better.
