Not what I expected

I hope you all had a relaxing weekend with beautiful weather. I didn't get any cards made but my granddaughter came over to make family birthday cards and she got ten made. We had lunch and a great time visiting while she worked on them. That time is so precious.

I recently ordered what was shown as rub-ons. When I think of rub-ons I'm picturing an image on a sheet that you cut out and rub on a card panel with a popsicle stick. I ordered two different sets and they weren't what I thought at all. I love them but they are an image already made that has a peel off backing. So, this is the card I made.

My dog swallowed a bunch of scrabble tiles left on the floor. I took her to the Vet. No word yet.

Be kind to one another.

Lovely card Brenda, I love the little scene. I would have expected the rub-ons to come ready to cut out and use will a little stick too.

Your card is beautiful. It's more like patterned paper that you have to stick to a card. Can't be easy to stick it with no creases. Why not just sell them as patterned paper?? It's not like any rub-on that I've seen. But, it made a lovely card, so definitely worth it. :) xx

You’ve made a very pretty card even though it wasn’t what you expected, and it sounds like you had a wonderful day with your granddaughter, which is lovely xxx

I can see why you wanted to buy this paper, Brenda, no matter if it was pp, or rub-ons, or a sticker! This image is a keepsake! We are luckily being visited by a dozen or more bluebirds at the birdbaths and I'm just tickled, so this one really makes me happy! I'm also happy that you had a wonderful day with your granddaughter crafting and visiting! (When that dog poops out a word, let us know!!😂)Hugs, Darnell

I had the same thought about rub-ons. But, the scene for your wonderful card with the bird is very pretty! Sounds like a great time with your granddaughter when she came to visit! And, what a cute joke, love it!
